My Prediction (a sure bet at intrade btw), is that every candidate will declare today’s outcome as a success for their own campaign, and will point to some sort of results as indicators that their political party is united behind a certain cause that is undoubtedly “for the people.”
No doubt you are right Scott. I’m sure George McGovern is still claiming a moral victory from landslide defeat Nixon dealt him in 1972.

First round of voting in WV completed:
Romney 464
Huckabee 375
McCain 176
Paul 118
Paul is eliminated for the next round of voting. It looks like it will take 568 votes to win, assuming no delegates leave or abstain in later rounds. Currently they are on lunch break and I imagine there may be some people trying to make deals. Things look kind of good for Romney, but if the McCain people are disciplined enough and Paul’s people split their vote it’s still possible that Huckabee could pull off an upset with McCain’s help.

Huckabee takes it. McCain instructed his people to vote for Huck and enough of them did.
567 for Huck (52%)
521 Romney
12 McCain
Looks like some of Paul’s people went home and most of the rest went for Romney, but they didn’t vote as a block. Too bad; Paul should have tried to make some sort of deal with Romney…
