Ron Paul is a complete and utter asswipe. The utter gall of this man to blame 9/11 on America. He sounds like any other Michael Moore, Howard Dean, and KosKiddie and should be completely and utterly ashamed of himself.
On the other hand, Rudy went up a few points for calling him on it. Although he has sunk quite a few points to begin with.
UPDATE
As you can tell by my comment section I’ve attracted many of the supporters of our very own Republican Kucinich (thank you Don Surber, perfect description of this nutcase Paul) with their complete and utter (I like saying that word tonight for some reason) idiocy.
Dean Barnett described this embarrassment of a candidate perfectly:
Ron Paul – Do you know that this Robert Taft-idolizing crackpot is Andrew Sullivan’s latest heartthrob? Andrew’s bitterly disappointed that Republicans aren’t giving Paul a chance. I’m convinced that if Andrew familiarized himself with Paul’s background, his disappointment would be mitigated. On the bright side, Wendell Goler asked Paul for three programs he would cut. Talk about serving a heaping helping of red meat to a libertarian. (For what it’s worth, Paul is actually right about the Department of Homeland Security; that monstrosity is a living breathing emblem of all that’s wrong with our government.) The good news is that Paul was such an embarrassment tonight, he may not be invited to the next debate. As Captain Picard might say, make it so.
We could only hope.
Beautiful illustration of Ron Paul courtesy of SondraK
Oh, and since Fox hasn’t quite figured out that their poll has been hijacked by the KosKiddies, DummiesU crowd, and the Libertarians (they go well together….like pee’s in a pod), please check out LGF’s poll here.
UPDATE II
Great question for Ron Paul at Hot Air:
It would be interesting to ask Paul’s opinion on Jefferson’s handling of the Barbary Pirates, incidentally. If I recall those signatures at the end of the Constitution correctly, he actually was one of the founding fathers, and I don’t seem to think “blowback” was amongst his concerns.
I’m just amazed at Ron Paul’s total lack of reality here. Radical Islam wants us dead because we are not Muslim. It’s as simple as that. It does not matter what we do, where we run, where we hide. In the end it’s the same as it was 200 years ago:
In 1786, Thomas Jefferson, then ambassador to France, and John Adams, then ambassador to Britain, met in London with Tripoli’s ambassador, Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja. Jefferson and Adams asked by what right the Barbary States preyed upon American shipping, enslaving crews and passengers.
Adja replied that the actions of the Islamic nations were “… founded on the Laws of their Prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every [Muslim] who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise.”
UPDATE III 05-16-07
Ace makes an outstanding point:
Which is strange in and of itself– after all, Ron Paul insists, along with every other left-wing ninny, that Osama bin Ladin wants us in Iraq. If Al Qaeda wants us in Iraq, why are they always propagandizing for us to depart? Shouldn’t they be trying to keep us there, since they want us there and all?
And also, if our foreign policy is, as Ron Paul asserts, exactly what al Qaeda wants, what sense does it make to, as he suggests, craft a foreign policy more amenable to Al Qaeda, less likely to anger them?
His fundamental starting premise is that we already have just about the optimum foreign policy from Al Qaeda’s perspective; what additional measures is he thinking of when he calls for us to try to please Al Qaeda more in our foreign policy decisionmaking?
I am more then a little grateful that this dumbass decided to show his true colors last night. That way we can be rid of him, along with the rest of his liberal libertarians who were not going to vote for a Republican anyway, quicker.
Meanwhile the Ron Paulbots….or Truthers as they’re more well know as….are busy stomping on any site that dares to post a negative thought about this nimrod. Remind you of a tactic used by another faction in this country?
Yup….
The lefties.
Peas in a pod I’m telling ya.
Also, check out Hot Air tonight with a video of an exchange between Alan Colmes and Laura Ingraham about this incident. Here is Ian:
Colmes’ reasoning: because a CIA analyst and the CIA itself had similar ideas, it’s okay for Ron Paul to do the same and no one should express any anger. Commenting on the “conventional wisdom” that Rudy’s response was “iconic,” Ingraham said it was just “cute” but nothing special.
Don’t you love how all the lefties are defending Ron Paul?
But he is a true…cough….conservative….cough.
Sigh…

Truth hurts my friend, but if you want a 100 year war and to live in a facist police state with Rudy types at the helm, go vote for him. I’m voting for truth and freedom.
The people who need to go to hell are the ones with their heads stuck in the sand, pretending that our foreign policy actions have no consequences. Ron is 100% correct in saying that our actions over the years – meddling in the Middle East – have contributed to anti-American sentiment in Muslim countries. To ignore that is to simply ignore reality.
And this “they attack us because they hate our freedom” is the kind of simplistic thinking better suited for a 5 year old than for a President. There are countries that are more free than the United States, or equally as free, and those countries aren’t being targeted for attack to these so-called jihadists. Where are the attacks on other Western / Democratic / Judeo-Christian nations such as New Zealand, Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg, Japan, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Germany, etc? Many of those countries are closer to the Islamic population centers, wouldn’t you think they would be likelier targets if this was just about attacking free / western nations?
So I guess the authors of the US Government report on 9/11 are also asswipes.
http://www.gpoaccess.gov/911/pdf/fullreport.pdf
“How did Bin Ladin—with his call for the indiscriminate killing of Americans—win thousands of followers and some degree of approval from millions more? . . . He also stresses grievances against the United States widely shared in the Muslim world. . . . He spoke of the suffering of the Iraqi people as a result of sanctions imposed after the Gulf War, and he protested U.S. support of Israel. *****America’s policy choices have consequences. Right or wrong, it is simply a fact that American policy regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and American actions in Iraq are dominant staples of popular commentary across the Arab and Muslim world.”
Is Ron Paul an ‘utter asswipe’ or are the other candidates woefully uninformed? I would argue for the latter. Here is a quote from an OFFICIAL CIA DOCUMENT that discusses the causes of 9/11:
How did Bin Laden—with his call for the indiscriminate killing of Americans—win thousands of followers and some degree of approval from millions more? . . . He also stresses grievances against the United States widely shared in the Muslim world. . . . He spoke of the suffering of the Iraqi people as a result of sanctions imposed after the Gulf War, and he protested U.S. support of Israel. *****America’s policy choices have consequences. Right or wrong, it is simply a fact that American policy regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and American actions in Iraq are dominant staples of popular commentary across the Arab and Muslim world.
I find it shocking that Giuliani ‘has never heard of’ this opinion. Can a contender for President actually believe that they hate us because of our freedoms? How ridiculous! When Al Qaeda is recruiting new terrorists, do you believe they can convince someone to kill themselves because of our strip clubs? Or do you think perhaps it is more likely the fact that we have troops in their holy land, our bombing of their countries, or our military support for their mortal enemy Israel?
Ron Paul deserves credit for having the courage to bring this up. Perhaps it is time that we reconsider our foreign policy. The ‘they hate our freedoms’ nonsense just plays to people’s stupidity and Rudy knows better, and should be ashamed.
Calling Dr. Paul an “asswipe” certainly shows off your wise and conservative thinking. You should be ashamed of yourself for that one, my friend. Let’s not refute what Dr. Paul is saying, lets just call him names! Wheee what fun.
But you obviously know nothing about Dr. Paul. Saying he is simply another Michael More is the pinnacle of ignorence, since Ron Paul is conservative, not a socialist, pro-life, pro-constitution, etc, etc.
Note to you: Get facts right.
Curt is an idiot. Enough said.
Dr. Paul was 100% correct and possibly the only GOP candidate with any grasp of foriegn policy whatsoever.
Hey, look everybody, I’ve attracted the worst of the worst…cowardly conservatives. You all should be ashamed of yourselves for believing in this retard named Ron Paul.
Lmao! Good job, Curt! Oh, man….those comments are hilarious.
I distinctly remember coming across news over the years of Muslim problems and thwarted attacks on some of those countries you listed, such as Australia, Denmark, Germany, and Belgium. Maybe this will help wake you up.
Nice to know you Ron Paul fanboys are in agreement with bin Laden’s propagandistic opining.
In many places I have seen the spamming and poll posting bias to this man.
I have read his site on the net for 6 or 8 years now because I realized he would be and issue until the first primary is voted on and he slips beneath the waves of the 1% rule if things are still on the up and up.
Check out the new posters here and anywhere you go touting this person.
The man has no reach beyond the end of his podium , but for a while tonight he was leading the after debate poll.
To suggest that it was not being gamed is avoiding reality.
Purely a spam flood with no real basis.
At most it was a demonstration of the passion of the true believers and at worst the worthy assistance of the rabid left to elevate what they consider the weak sister.
This too will pass.
The last of the isolationist theories was written before 1815 and it is posted at my blog. I’m hoping as I asked other common sense Republicans (no not you shoot yourself in foot republicans and right wing moonbats) to write or call the RNC and have Ron Paul uninvited to the next debate so we can focus on the subjects grown ups talk about. It’s OK to talk theory for all you kiddies but when you’re ready for the real game the frontline then you’ll be welcome aboard.
Ron Paul was actually kinda right to point out that the 911 attacks were the result of blowback from the US war on Iraq, BUT it’s a catch 22.
On the one hand, if someone agrees with Ron Paul, then they’re agreeing that the invasion was right because that was the only way that the 1990-2003 war with Saddam was going to end, and the ignored war between Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom (called “containment” by those who seek a sterile washing of the truth) did have side effects. Among those was that it forced UBL and AQ to go from just ranting about Americans to killing Americans to going to war with the US.
It’s not that the US brought 911 upon itself, but that 911 and the war with Al Queda was a side effect of the war with Saddam.
HOWEVER, Ron Paul’s grossly off the mark if he thinks that just leaving the Middle East is a good idea. Isolationism is stupid. It only procrastinates problems until they get bigger, and-as he himself pointed out by citing the installing of the Shah followed a generation later by the hostage crisis-the effects of previous decisions take generations to erase…if they get erased at all.
Now, Mayor Rudy is damn right though. UBL and AQ in general are not a nation. They are not an army. They are not freedom fighters or even holy warriors. They are posers. They are murderers, and just as Dhamer blamed his daddy for his wanting to kill, just as your average street thug blames his environment, just as mob killers justify their killing as “the only work they could get” so too are Osama Bin Laden and Al Queda. They are killers first and foremost. They seek excuses. One cannot kill for a religion of peace. It’s an oxymoron. They are not holy warriors despite their claims. They are CAN get other jobs (most of the 911 hijackers were middle or upper class and educated not poor distraught goat herders). These guys kill because they are killers.
So why do they kill Americans?
Because it’s easy to claim that the most powerful nation is an evil empire, that it gets its power from the little man, and nothing justifies killing like the image of a Robin Hood styled legend. Stealing from the rich, giving to the poor. Toss in some religion to get support from the uneducated masses, and bammo…one’s got a Jihad; a holy war. So the Mayor is right.
They kill us because we’re free, wealthy, and can do as we please, but he’s wrong to suggest that the “containment” of Iraq had no part in the war. Both he and Ron Paul still miss the point:
Bin Laden is no more a holy man on a jihad than Charles Manson. Murderers seek excuses to justify their actions, and the more a person wants to murder, the more complex and stretched the reasoning has to be. That’s the case with all mass murderers.
Ron Paul needed to be knocked out in this round.
I think Guliani put the smack down on this Nimrod.
Ron Paul should be eliminated from the GOP ticket and fast!!
He isnt even a RINO! And his cult followers messed up the “Who wont the debate poll”.
I think he is a plant by the Democrats.
Either way this nutball needs to go.
Scott Malensek:
By Ron Paul’s reasoning, he’d have us listen to Charles Manson’s rationale for why he murdered; and then have us adopt policies and practices that would have us cower from provoking or angering mass murderers.
ROFL…maybe that’s why the rest of the planet hates America, so damned blind to what’s going on everywhere else in the world that we should be ashamed.
Ron Paul may not be the greatest candidate, but he is right in that Bin Laden’s attacks were sited from occupation in the Middle East.
To rate Giuliani because he does not know the facts is as dumb as electing another gun-slinging, xenophobe to the Whitehouse.
Oh my… you kicked over a rock with this one didn’t you Curt?
I love this phrase: “Republican Kucinich.”
Ron Paul is a nut and just to prove the point, you attracted a gaggle of his demented parrots to prove the point.
“America First” and the isolationists are nothing more than fools at best or tools for the enemy at worst.
We could leave the Middle East, abandon every Jew in Israel to certain death, erect Fortress America on the borders and the Islamists would STILL be trying to kill us.
You need proof of that? In OBL’s own words:
The Question that Ron Paul and his delusional followers need to ask is are they ready to trash the US Constitution and make Sharia Law supreme?
This is the ultimate objective of the Islamists and no withdrawal from Iraq or the Middle East will appease them.
Wake up fools!
Ron Paul doesn’t want us to be isolationists, he just doesn’t want us to occupy foreign countries.
The truth is out. People are smart(well most of them), and they will digg for the rest of the truth.
Foxnews has shown their true color. The People have spoken. We are ready for the rest of the truths to come out. Fox can’t cover up what MILLIONS of people saw on their network. Those MILLIONS of people are now doing their own research and finding that Ron Paul speaks the truth and can’t be stopped now. It would be in the best interest for the Republican party to continue to include Ron Paul in their debates, I am afraid that if Ron is barred from any forthcoming debates, Fox will TRULY understand what the Ron Paul Revolution is about
I have little doubt that history will relegate you to the dustbins of failed intellect, Curt, you poor soul. Grow a brain and read up a little. “They hate us for our freedom”? Give me a break.
Ron Paul is the only candidate with any balls whatsoever. The rest will tell you whatever you want to hear in order to get elected. Isn’t it funny, people calling for Dr. Paul’s ouster in upcoming debates…..they are all scared. Scared of what Dr. Paul has to say, and scared of his message getting out to the masses. Giuliani is nothing but a thug. Dr. Paul is the only real conservative left in the Republican party. The rest have been hijacked by the religious right. Idiots.
Ron Paul was the only candidate up there who has any real ideas and solutions for this country. Ask Giuliani about the economy or anything else other than TERRISIM and he’ll just blink. He only knows how to cough up 9/11 sputum ad infinitum. In fact thats the only thing his entire platform is based on. Once the country comes to grip with the fact that he’s just a cross-dressing, adulterous, one dimensional degenerate they’ll vote for Hillary.
Ron Paul is a true American that won’t be intimidated by the talking heads like Shemp Hannity or Bill Oraly. It’s time to start thinking for once and quit bashing everyone who has a contrary viewpoint.
Ron Paul is a true patriot, and a true leader. You’ve got 9 guys up there preaching the same thing President Bush is saying, and 1 guy, who is looking out for the GOOD of the every day citizen.
You Ron Paul Bashers need to wake up. Keep arguing over Dem vs Rep, liberal vs conservative, life vs choice, all that stuff is PETTY, compared to the amount of DEBT, the Decline of the DOLLAR, GLOBALISATION, and impending war with IRAN.
Ron Paul is AHEAD of the Curve, ever heard of Preventative? Ron Paul will SAVE YOUR A$$, and all you do is mock him like bunch of Romans at the Coliseum cheering on Lions fighting Christians.
Wake Up South Carolina. You all tried to Succeed before, its in your blood, yet now, you roll over and let Rudy pet your stomach? Your grandfathers are rolling in their graves!
“It would be interesting to ask Paul’s opinion on Jefferson’s handling of the Barbary Pirates, incidentally.”
Dr. Ron Paul’s opinion would probably fit perfectly in line with what are the only federal crimes: piracy, treason and counterfeiting. I believe Ron Paul would agree with the handling of the Barbary Pirates (based on my limited knowledge). How the Constitution and original intent would have been violated, I would like to know. I would also like to know what that has to do with 9/11.
It amazes me that Americans can be against someone who’s only guide is the US Constitution, the very document the United States of America was founded upon.
My Two Cents,
ROFL…maybe that’s why the rest of the planet hates America, so damned blind to what’s going on everywhere else in the world that we should be ashamed.
Ron Paul may not be the greatest candidate, but he is right in that Bin Laden’s attacks were sited from occupation in the Middle East.

Gee the rest of the planet hates America hmm, I guess that’s why the newly elected President in FRANCE of all places reached out to America first in his first speech as President. And Germany, and Canada, etc…
Rudi Guliani doesnt know the facts? LOL are you serious? He lived the facts.
Actually I think Ron Paul did a bang up job at the debate!
He did a bang up job of getting his ass kicked by Rudy Guliani 🙂
Ron Paul supported Bush in going after bin Laden in Afghanistan, and Paul has made it clear he is disappointed that Bush failed in that mission.
Paul did not support the invasion of Iraq, and if you read his statements and speeches prior to the invasion/occupation, his predictions (unlike those by Cheney, Wolfowitz etc) were amazingly accurate.
So excuse me if I find it odd that you people are here mocking Dr Paul, a person who got it right, all while cheering many of the morons who were completely wrong and got us in this Iraq mess in the first place.
Oh, and Paul never said “we invited†the attacks. He merely points out that big government policy can have unforseen and often unpleasant consequences. ANY conservative would agree with that. Right?
Paul feels, with quite a bit of evidence (see the 9/11 comission report for example), that the US government policy of spending boat loads of our tax dollars and our military to support or instigate covert and overt interference in the middle east for the past 50 years, has made that area a seed bed of hatred towards the US.
Pointing out the that gov’t policy, even policy meant to be benign (e.g., welfare, school busing) can have horrible consequences is NOT blaming America for the consequences. It is stating the damn obvious to any REAL conservative.
Two points. First, if we are going to fight the war on terror…where is this money going to come from? We have a $9 TRILLION national debt, our Congressional budget yearly bleeds red and our US dollar is fiat money. We cannot physically wage a war on a religion that makes up 1 billion people. We must come to some terms with some of these people. Take this from someone who served, worked and lived with some of these people. Second, how many military bases are there in the USA that are leased, staffed, and controlled by foreign military powers? Very good, NOT ONE. Yet America has taken upon itself the belief that it should stay in foreign countries indefinitely through military power. How many of you would be OK with a Vietnamese Air Base in Southern California? You know…the Vietnamese ignore our EPA regulations and dump chemicals on THEIR base which poisons the surrounding ground water or the Vietnamese soldiers get a little drunk and rape an occasional SO-CAL teenager. No big deal right. Stop being so arrogant and financial irresponsible. Oh yeah…America you’re welcome! I was glad to serve my Country for 5 years in the USMC. Sincerely another ignorant Jarhead. RON PAUL 2008
Ron Paul’s statements have now been corroborated by facts published in the 9/11 report.
Also, FYI, here is some info regarding the Giuliani/Motorola scandal that contributed to the deaths of 300 uniformed NYC firefighters on 9/11

“call the RNC and have Ron Paul uninvited to the next debate so we can focus on the subjects grown ups talk about.”
Oh, yes, you mean subjects like John Edwards haircut expenditures, how fun it is to torture, and whether we should double Guantanomo, or maybe quadruple it?
Count me out of that one.
Other than name calling, you sometimes have good points.
if Rudy did such a good job at the debate, then why is he down nearly 10% in the polls????
America is choosing the red pill. The Ron Paul revolution is comming.
Your the ass wipe son there aint a conservative bone in your body you NeoCONS better ready for a 2nd civil war because are going to take the White House back from you fraudsters and we will do it with pitchforks if we have too!
Yup, you militia units up thare in dem hills gonna take it all over son…all over!
What idiots.
So I see Ron Paul supporters are now calling for a second civil war? ROFLMAO!!!!
What are they going to do issue letters of marque?
On the bright side, at least keith didn’t call military veterans who do not support Ron Paul “traitors”, “domestic enemies”, “un-patriotic” like most other Paul supporters do.
If you truly supported the troops, you would be bringing them home and getting them out of harm’s way in needless overseas police actions.
Keeping soldiers in the desert and dumping buckets of taxpayer money down the drain does not equal “supporting the troops”.
PS. Ron Paul served in the military. Giuliani did not.
Great blog!!! Ron Paul is a racist fruitcake.
WED MAY 16 WEDNESDAY’S HERO (and it isn’t ron paul)
What say you now? RON PAUL 2012!!
The reason people are attempting to discredit Ron Paul at the moment is because he had the temerity to point out that the Cut, Cap and Balance Bill is total bulls-t as a budget balancing measure, and to explain why that is in language clear enough for anyone to understand.
Must Read: Ron Paul Shreds “Cut, Cap, And Balance”, And Basically Calls House Leaders Liars
There are surely very few people in Congress who are more sincere and consistent constitutionalists than Ron Paul. There are plenty of pretenders. This was true in 2007 and is true now.
I just can’t understand why he kept the assumption for 9/11
to have it’s origine in AMERICA, FROM AMERICAN,
NO FACTS CAN EVER TELL US THAT THIS WAS NOT A TERRORIST ATTEMPT,
IT WILL NEVER PASS AS A REALTY. THEY CAN BRING ANY EXCUSES BUT
IT WILL NEVER HOLD IN AMERICA. TOO MANY PROOFS ARE THERE TO CONFIRM WHAT WE SAW.
Hey, just so you anti-Paul imbeciles know, Ron is not “isolationist” as you claim. He is “non-interventionalist”. There are critical differences. Read up, my nincompoopy friends!
@Bob: Gee, we’ve never heard that one before. [/sarcasm]
Please do some catch up reading my paul bearer Bobby-come-lately-friend. In Ron Paul’s case, it’s a difference without a distinction, other than to make you Ronulans feel reassured and smug on the talking points. You forgot to mention Washington and foreign entanglements, yaddy, yaddy, yadda!
“Isolationism is not something I endorse.” words from Paul’s mouth. He goes on to explain his stance in non-interventionalism as a non nation-building policy, where free market and diplomacy are used to create bonds between nations and economic progress. Isolationalism was the sentiment of the 1930’s. Paul isn’t talking about that type of stuff when he says “non-interventionalism”, so get your facts straight. Wordsmith, “It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt”. Unfortunately you started talking about things you don’t know about and have made yourself appear foolish.
@Dr. Bob:
Dude…this post was written in 2007. You’re almost 5 yrs late to the dance.
OMG! ‘Cause ArPee says it, it must be so!
We’ve heard all this before ad nauseam from the Polbots, thinking they’re educating rather than evangelizing their marching orders and talking points. Most of you Paul Reverists just parrot the same ol’ same ol’ predictable lines. It grew old back in 2008. Still hilarious in 2012. READ MY FRICKIN’ LINKS! You aren’t spouting anything new, doc! You’re arguments have already been addressed there. If that’s not enough to quench your thirst for all things anti-Paul, here’s more to drive you batty. Have at it!
Wanna know why we “parrot” it? Because Ron has been consistently spreading his message for decades! Whatever idiot you endorse I can guarantee he doesn’t have Ron’s credibility. And your spiel about how it got old in 08′ but is still hilarious in 12′ makes no sense. And seriously no one ever reads/cares about hyperlinks. Just ask Maddox, creator of thebestpageintheuniverse. But I’m sure the arguments in your links are mainly composed of mis-represented half-truths and name calling instead of valid arguments that can feasibly do anything to convince any reader with half a mind to change their mind.
Just for giggles I clicked on one of your stupid hyperlinks, and just as I thought, the links are stupid, misrepresentative of Paul, and above all, biased.
@Dr. Betterthanyou Bob:
What a Paulbot you are! Based on your 2nd comment, it was obvious you didn’t click the links. If you had, your “original” line would not have applied to yourself:
And you’re so far gone, Dr. Paul can do no wrong! I bet you sport your crazy ol’ uncle’s image on your t-shirts with the same cult-like sycophancy the Obamabots do.
Well Mr. Objectivity, most of the links are to previous entries to this blog showing bias against brainwashed imbeciles such as yourself spouting old arguments hashed out long ago. Keep up.
And your first comment set the tone for how I treat you here, doc.
It comes across as obvious that you’re uninterested in debating but in preaching the faith. Click my first link. It’s a post I did on isolationist/non-interventionist. You didn’t tell me anything I hadn’t already heard before! I don’t even care what you choose to call it, really- ’cause it is what it is, which is foreign policy disaster. I still choose the isolationist moniker ’cause I like how it rubs pauliticians like you the wrong way. Here’s part of what I wrote Dr. toointellectuallyincuriousandlazy Bob to click links:
Let’s go back to what you posted earlier:
Okay, so you hate reading “biased” sources. My 2nd link is to a biased source; but if you weren’t so intellectually lazy, you’d attack the arguments put forth instead and note it links to an unbiased, pro-Paul source. His own senior aide, Eric Dondero, wrote this:
And because he denies, you just eat it up and go, “By golly then, he’s not an isolationist! You go, Paul!” But if it quacks like a duck….
All that written by someone defending, Dr. Paul.
Well, for the reading comprehension-challenged, what I was addressing is how your arguments were already hashed out by Paulbots smarter than you. They already had their asses handed back to them in ’08. Check out the comments sections in that “biased hyperlink” to FA category, Ron Paul. You’re a few years late, and several dollars short. Update your talking points, plz.
Call it isolationism, call it non-interventionism; but whichever term, what it is at the end of the day is wrong on foreign policy matters. He’s gone so far right, he’s come full circle standing shoulder to shoulder to the left of Dennis Kucinich and Cynthia McKinney.
Seriously? I’ve been brainwashed by a Constitutional man? You’re the closed-minded one brainwashed by corrupt Washington politicians and biased media. And don’t lecture me on WWII I already know more than you will ever know about it. For all I know, you’re just trolling.
CAN y’all believe that this post is still kept alive from MAY 16 2007 ?
this is the NEW 2012, and we are here with the same rhetoric from both sides
right in an election year, it’s no more about who’s right or wrong now,
no, it’s about virulent attacks among the future voters, there is right and wrong
in each sides, but what is important this ear is the menacing actions of IRAN, not to be just flying in the unimportant file of who will take the leadership in 2012 election, which must be by CONSERVATIVES,
JUST READING 2 OPPOSES NEWS IN FOX NEWS, ONE OF OBAMA REDUCING THE MILITARY BUDGET, AND THE OTHER ABOUT IRAN CONTINUE PURSUE OF AGENDA DARKER THAN EVER, NOTICE ONE MINUS AND ONE PLUS, ON THE WRONG SIDES
SO Y’ALL BETTER GET YOUR PRIORITY ON ONE SIDE ALONE IF YOU WANT WHAT AMERICA IS DESERVING TO GET FOR PRESIDENT, IT IS NOT WHAT YOU PERSONELY CHOOSE ON THIS ONE, BUT WHAT THE COUNTRY NEED TO WIN.
WITH GOD’S HELP, AMERICA WILL WIN
Troll thread necro. Pretty sure you’re wasting your time here, Wordsmith. I don’t know whether this guy is an actual supporter or a deliberate troll but either way he’s not doing RP any favors and is hardly likely to listen to a word you say.
So because I’m right on the definitions and he refuses to acknowledge that and the rest of my rhetoric that makes me a troll? Or is it because you’re too closed-minded and brainwashed to step back for a second and take a new perspective?
No, the point is that you opened with ‘imbeciles’ and ‘nincompoopy’ (ad hominem much?) while resurrecting a 4 year old thread, and have since been updating your username to be ever more condescending. Frankly a little over the top; even if you’re trying to imitate an arrogant RP fanatic (of which there certainly are plenty) you might want to tone it down a notch.
