BERUIT, Nov. 13–(Al-Manar Television) Hezbollah’s deputy secretary general hosted a US delegation of families of September 11 victims in Beirut. The delegation presented the aim of its visit which was spreading peace and rejecting violence all over the world as well as communicating with parties and factions in order to have one stand facing terrorism and aggression. Sheikh Qassem said that Hezbollah condemns the Sept 11 attacks and the recent ones in Jordan stressing that both state terrorism and terror committed by some groups should be condemned because it is against humanity regardless religion language and nationality.

Hizballah is an international terrorist organization that has been killing Americans and other Westerners for decades. Indeed, Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage said if al-Qaeda is the B-team of terrorism, Hizballah is the A-team.
Radical Shia group formed in Lebanon; dedicated to the creation of an Iranian-style Islamic republic in Lebanon and removal of all non-Islamic influences from the area. Strongly anti-West and anti-Israel. Closely allied with, and often directed by Iran, but may have conducted rogue operations that were not approved by Tehran.
Known or suspected to have been involved in numerous anti-U.S. terrorist attacks, including the suicide truck bombing of the U.S. Embassy and U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut in October 1983 and the U.S. Embassy annex in Beirut in September 1984. Elements of the group were responsible for the kidnapping and detention of U.S. and other Western hostages in Lebanon. The group also attacked the Israeli Embassy in Argentina in 1992.
