Shellie Zimmerman, wife of George Zimmerman, who killed Trayvon Martin, was arrested Tuesday on one count of perjury, the Seminole County, Fla., Sheriff’s Department said.
Deputies arrested Shellie Zimmerman, 25, about 3:30 p.m. ET, after they were advised by the office of State Attorney Angela Corey that a warrant had been issued.
She was booked into John E. Polk Correctional Facility and released on $1,000 bond, officials said.
George Zimmerman, 28, was charged with second-degree murder in the Feb. 26 shooting of Martin. He pleaded not guilty. Police say that he claimed on the night of the shooting that he acted in self-defense.

His $150,000 bond was revoked after allegations that during an April 20 bail hearing he and Shellie Zimmeran misled the court about their finances, neglecting to disclose they had raised at least $135,000 in a PayPal account.
The order issued Tuesday by Assistant State Attorney John Guy charged Shellie Zimmerman with knowingly making false statements during the April hearing.
Also Tuesday, the court released Seminole County Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester’s order revoking George Zimmerman’s bond.

You are only providing expert testimony as to Zimmerman’s pace, and judgement as to how long he was moving at an accelerated pace.

Was he moving at a fast shuffle (body forward, but not extended strides, and without using arms, a hurried need to get to gate A-78 real quick so as to not miss your flight. Or long strides walking, fitness walking, or will make the connection so long as you don’t dawdle.
Assumptions: 5’9 or 5’10. Reasonable fitness from walking 1 or 2 miles per day. Wearing boots, dark, but on wet but not slick pavement, and with a flashlight and cell phone while trying to talk on the phone.
Could he cover 300 feet? 200 feet? 100 feet?
Unfortunately we are stuck with BDLR’s lack of curiousity and his low expectations of “DeeDee” (likely a form of racism) so we have no idea what she meant by “sound of grass”, “run from the back”, “right by his Da[d]’s house” (other than she did not say “right by his ass” as BDLR thought), whether “he was going to …” means he had made plans to execute some action.
Thanks for the booking sheet, jimrtex… guess that confirms that GZ was only “feeling” 5’10” in 2005 and was really clueless he was two inches shorter. BTW, it doesn’t take an expert, nor physicist, to deduce if you successfully travel x distance in 24-28 seconds one way, you can travel that same distance in 24-28 seconds right back to where you started. So what’s your point? That he was unable to make it back to his vehicle in the same amount of time? Or even a bit more, going more leisurely? Despite your lectures about pace, I suppose it went right over your head that I did note, had he cut his pace in half to a little over 3′ per second, there was still another missing minute approx before meeting up with TM.
If the site of death is the 165′ away from his vehicle, from where ol’ George decided to roam that night, the unmistakeable fact is that two minutes after hanging up with the dispatcher, he was STILL 165′ away from his vehicle. Yuppers… he was searching for that evil teen committing the heinous crime of walking thru his neighborhood.
What the end of the call and the time of confrontation shows is that GZ did not immediately return to his vehicle. And if you haven’t figured that out by now, that is a key element in the State’s choice of a Murder Two prosecution. But of course, GZ himself never obligated to doing so in his conversation with the dispatcher.
Mike O’Malley, my sarcastic retort is to demonstrate that none of you hold a monopoly on absurd hyperbole. Considering the continued attempts to demonize TM so you can canonize GZ with these made up stories you have in your minds about the events that night, it really doesn’t leave one with much more to work with than responding to the hyperbole with returned sarcastic hyperbole. He called her to see what she thought of it and she told him she only listened to half of it and it made her disgusted. He asked her why, and she explained to him that if he could not express himself, even in music, without talking like a low bred guttersnipe, he was not the intelligent young man she thought he was. She explained to him that intelligent people do not have to resort to profanity to get their message across. Will Smith went on to say that he never used foul language in his records again.
You would be well advised to learn a less from Will Smith’s grandmother. Foul talk impresses no one other than the lowest denominator.

If your case is WEAK, and you want to bolster it… DAMAGE the rep of the defendants… the Prosecutor has done this…. the purpose of BAIL, is to make sure you don’t run off… GZ didn’t, so in REALITY, what’s the REAL BITCH here?? I have no doubt that many do appreciate America’s sacrifice. However we don’t appreciate several fundamental differences between American and Islamic cultures.
1) Foremost we don’t appreciate the profound impact the Gospels have had on Western Culture, how the Gospels have desacrilized our world making our modern world possible. Not so much with Islam. Islamic societies are more akin to Archaic societies with much stronger senses of the Sacred.
2) American culture is a guilt culture, Islamic societies are shame cultures.
3) We do not appreciate and often are unaware how Faith and Reason were seamlessly integrated in western Societies by Saint Aquinas and the Gregory Popes. Al Ghazali in effect repudiated a similar attempt to integrate faith and Reason in Islamic Society where Reason has a greatly diminished role.
4) We do not appreciate the impact of the Passion narratives, Paul’s letter to the Galatians and the doctrine of the Trinity on the formation of the concept of the individual person with individual rights in Western Societies. Islamic societies are fundamentally tribal.
One could go on, however we also under appreciate the damage inflicted upon Western Societies be the French Enlightenment and by the French Revolution. Nor do we appreciate the impact of Nietzsche on Western and Islamic societies.
