Tsunami strikes the US this morning

A tsunami struck the country this morning. A tsumani of stupid. I wasn’t sure what to do with it all, so here are some of the best bits.

Politico makes an issue of Huckabee complaining that women at Fox News swear while at work, apparently referring to them as “trashy.”

“My gosh, this is worse than locker-room talk,” Huckabee continued. “As we would say in the South, that’s just trashy.”

Neither Huckabee nor Politico seems to have met Hillary, who is said to swear “like a sailor.”

Sara Nelson writes about the book in Tuesday’s New York Post, revealing the most surprising claims. “It’s a very harsh look at her and her husband and their rise to power,” Nelson told us. “They said that she swears like a sailor. The author said she talks in a way that would make Howard Stern blush.”

The Obama regime instructs immigration agents to ask illegals if they qualify for Obama’s plan to avoid deportation:

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Obama administration has ordered immigration agents to ask immigrants they encounter living in the country illegally whether they might qualify under President Barack Obama’s plans to avoid deporting them, according to internal training materials obtained by The Associated Press.

Agents also have been told to review government files to identify any jailed immigrants they might be able to release under the program.

The directives from the Homeland Security Department mark an unusual change for U.S. immigration enforcement, placing the obligation on the government for identifying immigrants who might qualify for lenient treatment. Previously, it was the responsibility of immigrants or their lawyers to assert that they might qualify under rules that could keep them out of jail and inside the United States.

It’s akin to the Internal Revenue Service calling taxpayers to recommend they should have used certain exemptions or deductions.

The muffins at Berkeley got all flustered by an F18 buzzing the school:

We know that Berkeley Bolsheviks hate the sound of freedom. The comments are terrific. Here are a few:

Just think if the President approved a pair of these to do a ” fly-by ” during the attack on OUR American citizens in Benghazi, Libya, maybe the outcome would have been different.

Too bad it did not drop a bomb. Less liberals to destroy the country.

Berkeley? Too bad it was not carrying Tac Nukes

Berkeley is used to solar planes flying over slowly and then crashing. Their not used to real fast effective planes flying over.

Finally, Seattle is going to fine residents for throwing away food.

They want to prevent the generation of methane in landfills, so they insist that residents compost the food, where it will produce….methane.

And I loved this:

Of course, not all compost piles are treated the same, so some attention needs to be paid to the compost pile to so that it receives the oxygen that it needs. But, if a compost pile is being taken care of properly, it will produce far less methane than a landfill.

Because it’s SMALLER!

Warner Todd Huston makes a really good point.

Now, notice that Huckabee did not call his former co-workers “trashy.” In fact, he didn’t mention his former co-workers at all. There was not a single mention of Fox News in that excerpt.

He was clearly talking about the general population you’d meet on the streets of New York City. It was clear he was calling their behavior boorish.

But even more to the point, Huckabee didn’t focus on “trashy” women, either. He was calling people trashy, not “women.” He did not distinguish one iota between men or women in that quote. He treated the two sexes as equally trashy and lamented their behavior.

If you want outrage, it is outrageous that Politico so purposefully lied with this story.
