BOSTON — A series of explosions was reported near the finish line at the Boston Marathon on Monday, leaving two people dead and at least two dozen injured, according to the Boston Police Department.
A third explosion was heard just before 4 p.m., about an hour after the first two blasts. The police were apparently aware of that device before the explosion occurred.
The blasts took place about four hours after the start of the men’s race, which meant that there were still several thousand runners yet to finish the race. One senior counterterrorism official said it was too soon to tell whether the explosions were related to terrorism.
The Boston police confirmed they were looking into the explosions, but made no further comment. Another senior United States government official said that the Boston police and the F.B.I. said they had received no reports in recent days about a threat of an attack on the marathon and that there was no warning on Monday.
Latest I’ve heard as of this writing is that two more explosive devices were found.

It’s way too early for anyone to be jumping to conclusions as to who did this. The left desperately wants it to be someone on the right and vice versa. If no one comes out relatively soon to claim responsibility it most likely will have been some lone nutcase(s) unless foreign terrorists have changed their TTP’s. No matter who did it, rest assured that in a week or two it will be forgotten by most Americans until the next bombing.

In my opinion, the most worrisome thing about this is that no one has claimed credit. It suggests a person who is motivated more by the sense of empowerment the act gives them than by promoting a political cause, or by gaining personal public attention. If so, we might be dealing with the most dangerous sort of pathological personality: one that might repeat the act for more of that feeling, while simultaneously taking every precaution to remain anonymous.

WHDH TV an ABC affiliate turned over before and after pics of the 2nd bomb site.
You can clearly see the bomb in a large bag before then its spot is the center of destruction in the (blood and gore cleaned up) after.
Someone went to the front of the street barriers and laid this thing down and left.
Others filled in where he had been but no one was alarmed by the big bag sitting there at the edge of the curb.

I heard that there were only two bombs exploded and no unexploded bombs. If there are any intact bombs, then it will make the investigation easier.

Hello my friends, first and foremost I pray that the good Lord is watching over and comforting those wounded and the families of the wounded and the slain and that those responsible for this heinous act are caught and punished in manner equivalent to their crime.
Now to me it should be obvious to the most casual of observers that despite whoever actually planted those devices there is an ongoing organized attempt by the Administration and the MSM to tie this attack to “the Angry White Man”. I don’t necessarily mean the Republicans, I mean my wavelength of the political spectrum, the Libertarian/Constitutionalist/Militia member, you know “paulbots”. I personally am leaning towards the responsible party being Muslim or Government sponsored false flag but the perpetrators identity is irrelevant.
What is relevant is how this is going to affect us. I think that from now on if we want to take our families out to see the 4th of July fireworks display or LSU whup Alabama or any other public event, airshows, parades, graduations, sporting events, etc… we are going to be forced to pass through TSA/DHS checkpoints submit to body cavity searches and various other indignities just to go to a ballgame. We are going to have more check points on all our highways and interstates. The powers that be are not going to allow this opportunity to pass so be prepared to start “showing your papers” to the duly constituted authorities. We are also going to start seeing much more of President Obama’s Civilian National Security Force. If you thought having to allow former McDonald’s cashiers grope you your wife and children just to get on a plane was bad, get ready, cause you haven’t seen anything yet.
Personally I am not willing to surrender any more liberty in the name of security, but that’s just me.
