Congratulations to Black Lives Matter and the white liberals who enable them. You now have a concrete and distinctive achievement. Thanks to your efforts, a lot more people died in 2020 at the hands of others than in the previous year.
The number of black Americans murdered in 2020 jumped by 32 percent – with an expert blaming BLM protests for the huge spike by scaring-off cops.
Killings across racial demographic have swelled by 30 percent between 2019 and 2020, the largest increase since 1905, but blacks have borne the larger impact of that deadly trend, according to the FBI‘s Uniform Crime report.
In 2020, 9,941 African Americans met their death at the hand of another human being, compared to 7,484 the year before, an increase of 2,457 murders.
And it wasn’t just blacks
Murders of whites jumped 21 percent from 2019 to 2020, from 5,787 to 7,043.
The blame goes to those who damned the police no matter what the facts were
Support of Black Lives Matter and calls to defund the police reverberated across America in 2020 following the death of George Floyd, igniting social justice protests and riots at a time when the coronavirus and lockdowns upended society in unprecedented ways. What was left in 2020’s wake was a massive increase in the number of murders, dealing a disproportionate blow to Black Americans.
“Certainly, the protests and riots mid-2020 after the death of George Floyd followed a pattern of spiking violence that we’ve seen following past viral police incidents, such as the deaths of Michael Brown and Freddie Gray. This pattern has been termed the ‘Ferguson Effect’: police pull back while violent crime spikes precipitously,” Hannah Meyers, director of the policing and public safety initiative at the Manhattan Institute, told Fox News Digital.
Ensconced in their multiple mansions, BLM could not be reached for comment.
Police are afraid to get involved. They are afraid to do their jobs. No one wants to wait to evaluate the facts of events- especially not dumbass white liberals (think Nicole Wallace) and the race pimps at CNN and MSNBC- Tiffany Cross, Joy Reid and “Them Greek Homos” Al Sharpton. They crucify the cops prior to any justice seeing the light of day, innocence be damned.
The pendulum has swung perilously far to the left. Now you can shoot 9 people at once and be free on $25,000 bail the next day and even go to work. Soros backed DA’s are putting career criminals back on the street so they may continue their life’s chosen profession. The DA’s Soros bought have the highest crime rates in their jurisdictions. Minorities are paying a very heavy price for that largesse.
And what really does concern black people?
Democrats and legacy media have tried to make racism the biggest issue in American life. An in-depth poll of black adults from the Pew Research Center shows the message just isn’t sticking.
Crime and violence, including drug activity, shootings, and theft, are the top issues black people say the communities they live in are facing. In total, 17% name crime as the most important issue, followed by economic issues (such as poverty, homelessness, and taxes) at 11% and housing at 7%.
And racism- the life blood of white liberals and the MSNBC/CNN race baiters?
Racism, diversity, and culture are near the bottom of the list at 3%, right behind “no issues” at 4%. Yes, in a poll of black adults on the problems facing their community, racism is polling behind “no issues.”
Everybody wants to be safe, to feel safe.
Charles Payne of Fox News ripped into progressives and asserted that “Progressives have hijacked the pain and suffering of black Americans for everything that they want to push.”
Spot on.
The race baiters are in it for themselves and the ratings. They’re cheap shot artists. Black Lives Matter doesn’t care about any black life lost other than to policing. White liberals pride themselves for knowing better what black people want and need better than black people themselves. The truth is that we’re all more alike than we are different. Hate and division are the life blood of the race baiters. White liberals virtue signal in unison so as to appear to care.
They’ve done nothing but make things worse – for everyone. Like Morgan Freeman said, if you want racism to end, “Just stop talking about it.”
But then why would anyone watch MSNBC or CNN?
We need more police, not fewer. Government needs to listen to and address the needs of those suffering and not the blowhards.
