Wired.com has it this way- Russian interference meant Trump was a Russian agent, but when it came to Bernie, it was something other than Bernie being a Russian agent, despite the fact that Bernie Sanders’ philosophies are much more aligned with Russia’s than Trump’s ever were.

Second, the President isn’t a Monarch, and a King Bernie couldn’t just set tax rates where he wanted….to do anything he wanted…without support from the House and Senate.
A Democratic majority House and Senate would likely get taxes back on a more rational rate schedule. The high end rates are far too low. The wealthiest neither needed nor deserved the cuts they’ve received. They had too much money and too much power already. Their rewards have become grossly disproportionate with their personal productivity and contributions to the economy.
