The state of New York passed a law making murder of children legal. Now the unborn may be killed right up to the moment of birth. Oh, I know it’s not worded that way, but the fact is that is how is can and will be implemented. In its usual and ham handed and deceptive way, Snopes tried to finagle the truth:

What’s True

The New York state legislature passed a law allowing abortions after 24 weeks if the mother’s health is at risk or there is an absence of fetal viability.

What’s False

The law does not allow for unrestricted abortion up through the normal term of pregnancy.

Beg your pardon, but it does. The language of the previous law was changed and it was changed for a specific reason:

1) It allows for late-term abortion (i.e., after 24 weeks) if the health of the mother is threatened or the fetus is not viable. Previously, late-term abortions had only been legal in New York if the life of the mother was at risk.

It was changed to read “if the health of the mother is threatened” because “the health of the mother” can mean anything- a broken nail, a bad hair day or a headache.

Literally anything.

Not to be outdone, Virginia is considering an even more heinous bill

This same vile woman proposed this late term abortion legislation she proposed another piece of legislation protecting……caterpillars.

The Democratic Virginia delegate who has recently come under fire for sponsoring a bill in the Virginia House of Delegates that would allow the termination of a pregnancy up to 40 weeks old, is also the chief patron of a bill that would protect the lives of “fall cankerworms” during certain months.

Democratic Virginia Del. Kathy Tran introduced “House Bill No. 2495 – Fall cankerworm; spraying prohibited during certain months” on Jan. 9, the same day as “House Bill No. 2491 — Abortion; eliminate certain requirements.”

Tran came under fire Tuesday for her support of legislation that would allow an abortion to be performed just moments before the birth of a child.

Ralph Northam, the Governor of Virginia and a pediatric neurologist, endorsed the murder of infants:

There is no medical need for this horrible procedure.

Unborn Bald Eagles are better protected than unborn children.

Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act

The bald eagle will continue to be protected by the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act even though it has been delisted under the Endangered Species Act. This law, originally passed in 1940, provides for the protection of the bald eagle and the golden eagle (as amended in 1962) by prohibiting the take, possession, sale, purchase, barter, offer to sell, purchase or barter, transport, export or import, of any bald or golden eagle, alive or dead, including any part, nest, or egg, unless allowed by permit (16 U.S.C. 668(a); 50 CFR 22). “Take” includes pursue, shoot, shoot at, poison, wound, kill, capture, trap, collect, molest or disturb (16 U.S.C. 668c; 50 CFR 22.3). The 1972 amendments increased civil penalties for violating provisions of the Act to a maximum fine of $5,000 or one year imprisonment with $10,000 or not more than two years in prison for a second conviction. Felony convictions carry a maximum fine of $250,000 or two years of imprisonment. The fine doubles for an organization. Rewards are provided for information leading to arrest and conviction for violation of the Act.

democrats have already established that for them illegals are a higher priority than are Americans.

I think not.

The ultimate irony? Planned Parenthood says everyone has a right to live. Except for the unborn.

Even Planned Parenthood is defending the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program by stating they believe every person has a right to live.

“Here at Planned Parenthood, we firmly believe that every person has the right to live, work, and raise a family freely and without the threat of deportation or separation,” CEO Cecile Richards said in a fundraising email Tuesday.

And of course, the Washington Post frames it this way

But here’s the question- if a baby can be murdered just before birth, as it is being born or left to die after birth, why not allow murder of a one year old? Why not allow the murder of a five year old?

Why not decriminalize the killing of children entirely? I mean, for the health of the mother, of course.

I am not against birth control or even early abortion but this is truly depraved. democrats work tirelessly to cheapen the value and meaning of American citizenship and now destroy the meaning and value of life.

Tran, Cuomo, Northam join the ranks of Stalin, Hitler and Mao. Makes you proud.

PS: This is all happening now in anticipation of the demise of Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the potential reversal of Roe vs Wade.
