First things first. One must bear in mind that the Justice Department is utterly and completely corrupt. It began with the DOJ scuttling the investigation into the Black Panther voter intimidation case.
There was outrage over the decision among Congressional Republicans, the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, and in the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division—especially after it was learned one of the defendants who walked was Jerry Jackson, a member of Philadelphia’s 14th Ward Democratic Committee and a credentialed poll watcher for the Democratic Party last Election Day.
Then the Washington Times reported on July 30 that six career lawyers at Justice who had recommended continuing to pursue the case were overruled by Associate Attorney General Thomas Perrelli—a top administration political appointee. One of the career attorneys, Appellate Chief Diana Flynn, had urged in an internal memo that a judgment be pressed against the defendants to “prevent the paramilitary style intimidation of voters” in the future.
Eric Holder stonewalled the investigation into Fast and Furious
Holder’s problem is that most Americans will see the difference between 7,600 and 140,000. Somewhere in those withheld documents are answers to the questions Issa keeps asking: Who authorized this program? Who in Washington approved these ill-advised and possibly illegal tactics?
Who’s accountable?
It’s clear those answers won’t come from the attorney general, even as he expresses regret for the deaths of Terry and the hundreds of Mexicans killed by Fast and Furious weapons. Holder’s statements on what he knew and when have evolved repeatedly as new documents disproved previous sworn statements.
The IRS admitted to targeting conservatives in the 2012 election, yet absolutely no one was held accountable for it. It was found that the IRS Chief Counsel was involved and still nothing. obama met with Wilkins two days before the enhanced targeting criteria for conservatives were instituted. The DOJ saw nothing wrong with any of this.
obama has repeatedly declined to enforce the existing laws of this country:
Conservatives were angry when Janet Napolitano announced the administration would stop deporting certain undocumented immigrants, but they should have seen it coming. On issue after issue — gay rights, drug enforcement, Internet gambling, school achievement standards — the administration has chosen to achieve its goals by a method best described as passive-aggressive.
Rather than pushing new laws through a divided Congress to enact his agenda, Obama is relying on federal agencies to ignore, or at least not defend, laws that some of his important supporters — like Hispanic voters and the gay community — don’t like.
“If the president says we’re not going to enforce the law, there’s really nothing anyone can do about it,” University of Pennsylvania constitutional law professor Kermit Roosevelt said. “It’s clearly a political calculation.”

The Department of Justice shook down big banks for their alleged involvement in the housing scandal, but rather than reimburse the victims of the scandal the obama regime diverted the money to various left wing groups such as La Raza.
“In effect, the government has ordered the nation’s largest bank to create a massive slush fund for Democrat special interests,” states the editorial which reveals that radical Democrat activist groups stand to collect millions from Holder’s record deal with Bank of America. “The recession has dried up funding for such groups. But Holder’s massive bank shakedown could rebuild their war chests in a hurry.” The piece also points out that Holder has brokered other similar deals that will provide more back-door funding for the Democrat groups. They include a $13 billion agreement with JPMorgan Chase and a $7 billion deal with Citibank.
Under Loretta Lynch the DOJ has waded even deeper into the muck. She met with Bill Clinton just prior to James Comey announcing that he would recommend no charges be brought against hillary clinton- based on a fatally compromised investigation that was stymied by Lynch.
“The FBI went to Justice Department earlier this year asking for it to open a case into the foundation, but the public integrity unit declined,” CNN breaking news writer Daniella Diaz reported Wednesday.
The DOJ ordered the FBI to stand down in its investigation of the Clinton Foundation.
Let us be clear. The DOJ is corrupt and has been since the day obama took office. With this background let’s see what’s materializing. Ominous clouds are forming over election day.
First up, an Al Qaeda threat:
U.S. intelligence is warning of a possible terror threat for the day before the election next week, CBS News reported Friday.
Intelligence officials have told joint terrorism task forces about the possibility that al Qaeda is planning to attack three states on Monday, sources told CBS.
The states with the potential to be targeted are believed to be New York, Texas and Virginia.
The credibility of the threat reportedly has not been confirmed. But U.S. intelligence told counterterrorism officials of the potential threat out of caution.
“The counterterrorism and homeland security communities remain vigilant and well-postured to defend against attacks here in the United States,” a senior FBI official told CBS News.
“The FBI, working with our federal, state and local counterparts, shares and assesses intelligence on a daily basis and will continue to work closely with law enforcement and intelligence community partners to identify and disrupt any potential threat to public safety.”
Second, a cyber attack threat:
U.S. intelligence agencies do not see Russia as capable of using cyberespionage to alter the outcome of Tuesday’s presidential election, but they have warned that Moscow may continue meddling after the voting has ended to sow doubts about the legitimacy of the result, U.S. officials said.
The assessment reflects widespread concern among U.S. spy agencies that a months-long campaign by Russia to rattle the mechanisms of American democracy will probably continue after polls close on one of the most polarizing races in recent history, extending and amplifying the political turbulence.
U.S. security officials have not ruled out Russian-sponsored disruption on Election Day. In recent weeks, officials at the Department of Homeland Security have collected evidence of apparent Russian “scanning” of state-run databases and computer voting systems. “Whether they were really trying hard to get in, it’s not clear,” a U.S. official said.
Still, the decentralized nature of U.S. polling would make it extraordinarily difficult to subvert a nationwide race. Instead, U.S. officials said it is more likely that Russia would use hacking tools to expose or fabricate signs of vote-rigging, aiming to delegitimize an election outcome that Republican candidate Donald Trump has said he may refuse to accept if he does not win.
Or perhaps delegitimize a Trump victory. The DHS is eager and ready to seize control of the election.
Even before the FBI identified new cyberattacks on two separate state election boards, the Department of Homeland Security began considering declaring the election a “critical infrastructure,” giving it the same control over security it has over Wall Street and the electric power grid.
The latest admissions of attacks could speed up that effort possibly including the upcoming presidential election, according to officials.
“We should carefully consider whether our election system, our election process, is critical infrastructure like the financial sector, like the power grid,” Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said.
“There’s a vital national interest in our election process, so I do think we need to consider whether it should be considered by my department and others critical infrastructure,” he said at a media conference earlier this month hosted by the Christian Science Monitor.
That adds up to a significant distraction. Are we being set up? Opportunity and motive are present. If obama wasn’t the galactic scale liar he is and if the DOJ wasn’t as terminally corrupt as it is this might sound far fetched even to me. Now it’s not a stretch to imagine that should Trump win obama and his DOJ could claim that the election was tampered with and declare it invalid. Especially if it’s close.
Things could get interesting.
