DeBlasio shows what America would look like under socialism

Bill DeBlasio is doing America a real favor. He is showing us all that under socialism what a wonderful world it would be. DeBlasio reached puberty under the watchful eyes of the Nicaraguan Sandanistas. He also honeymooned in Cuba. The guy is a dyed in the wool socialist. He’s brought socialism to the city of New York and it’s been something to witness.

New Yorkers are not happy with the quality of their living experience at the moment:

New Yorkers believe quality of life in the Big Apple is rotting at the core, a new poll revealed Thursday.

Only 33 percent of Gotham residents said life here is “very good” or “good,” the lowest number Quinnipiac University has measured since it first polled on the topic in 1997.

As exposed by The Post, quality of life has gotten worse in just the past few years, according to 49 percent of respondents. Just 19 percent said it’s gotten better and 32 percent believe it’s the same.

Mayor Bill de Blasio’s handling of crime got dismal reviews. Just 40 percent approved and 52 percent did not.

The poll found that 46 percent of New Yorkers believe crime is a “very serious” problem — and 44 percent said it’s “somewhat serious.” Just 8 percent said “not very serious.” Those are the lowest numbers in that category since May 2008.

“The quality of life in New York City isn’t good and it’s getting worse, many voters think,” said Maurice Carroll, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University poll.

An outbreak of Legionnaires Disease has claimed ten lives so far.

Public urination has reached nearly epidemic levels. This the consequence of DeBlasio and his fellow socialists insisting on looking the other way for these pissy offenses.

It gets even better:

The glass facade of Cooper Union’s $111 million academic building offers a remarkable view — of a back alley packed with vagrants.

“I have seen drug deals, public urination, defecation, masturbation in broad daylight in the Taras Shevchenko alley,” a Cooper Union faculty member told The Post.

“It’s a place where many homeless congregate to sleep — right in front of a church and between a high school and a college,” the faculty member added.

Students, visitors to the East Village building’s multiple art galleries and even small kids who attend Preschool of the Arts housed at Cooper Union are greeted daily by a motley crew of drifters who bunk down on the pavement along Taras Shevchenko Place from about sunset through the morning rush hour.

And one has to think twice about taking pictures:

“If I ever see you or that photographer again, I’ll kick the s–t out of you,” he threatened.

There is a little bit of good news however. They city of New York has available a chart highlighting the public drinking and urination hotspots.

NYPD bosses have pinpointed the two dozen worst spots across the city for a “quality of life” crackdown on offenses like public drinking and urination, according to an internal document obtained by The Post.

The chart, handed down by Chief of Department James O’Neill, highlights three hotbeds of bad behavior in each of the city’s eight patrol zones in order to more effectively deploy rank-and-file cops.

Targeted areas include places exposed by The Post — Tompkins Square and Washington Square parks and East 125th Street between Park and Lexington avenues.

Broadway between West 68th and 72nd streets and a corner near the Coney Island beach are also on the list.

You have to hope New Yorkers are enjoying the fruits of their choices and a clear example of what your future would look like under socialism.

It looks a lot like Venezuela, which isn’t all that far from Nicaragua.

I wouldn’t sh*t you about this.
