Addressing a gaggle of dictators comprising the African Union in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Obama feigned a weak lament that although he considered himself a good president, he could not run again. That pesky thing called a Constitution that his Administration has trampled on for six years was in the way. “I cannot run again. I can’t run again,” he sighed. Having suffered headaches from listening to a lack of veracity in his pronouncements over the years, I thought, something’s not right here. What has he really done?
The answer was simple. My sense is that the strategy to retain power was likely developed during the latter part of his first term in office. He and Jarrett had been allowed to treat the Congress and the Supreme Court with disdain and disrespect, and dismiss the Constitution as little more than an annoyance. The media had applauded with abandon and encouraged them, . . of course the Constitution was an irritant to their visionary and brilliant leader.
The Re-election Plan:
The Clintons and the Obama/Jarrett cabals have intensely disliked one another. Bill believed that his pivotal support of Obama in the 2012 election would win his wife O/J’s support in the future. Not a chance. Bill couldn’t be believed, but then neither could Obama/Jarrett. Bill lost that gamble.
O/J knew Hillary was using an offsite server while conducting her business as Secretary of State. Did O/J complain, or whine, or order her to cease and desist? No. Was it legal? Was it right? Was it safe for the Nation? No. An off-site server to conduct affairs of State would be an insane and dangerous concept today, yesterday and a decade ago. O/J let her do it. Fast forward to 2015 . . .
A leak, apparently from the Jarrett sphere of influence, suggests that all had not been right with the ‘Hillary’ email system and its security. The crack expands slowly. The left tinged media doesn’t really want to dig too deep, but the pure insanity of an off-site server, in her home no less, is impossible to ignore. The digging has to continue.
In comes Congress. Slow, and not too sharp on the uptake, the Republican side decides to inquire into possible breaches in national security and whether Hillary put the Nation or its uniformed men and women at risk. The digging continues and Hillary will testify, but only under her conditions, . . . she has learned a trick or two from the Ayatollah on negotiating.
Very meekly, slowly, the FBI shows up on the scene. Notice, this isn’t because O/J want to get to the bottom of this. At least not obviously. Obama is busy bolstering dictators in Africa, fresh off his boosting the Castros and the Ayatollah. No, O/J are nowhere near the scene of this train wreck. They don’t want it to alight too rapidly. This fire needs to be a slow burn, but incinerate, it will. Hillary is going down.
But why slowly? And why so near to the 2016 elections just around the bend?
The Republicans are fighting with Republicans. Their Congressional leadership is non-existent, and some of it actually supports O/J and their bewildering ‘treaties’.
The media stupidly or knowingly falls right in line with the O/J program, proclaiming the coronation of Hillary as inevitable. But O/J also knows that the media loves to ‘eat its own babies’. When it turns, it turns with vengeance. It loves to create idols, and is enraptured when it can tear them down. Hillary is not likeable enough to be saved. The media will turn on her. But . . . not . . . quite . . . yet.
More time has to pass. Time for what? Just enough time for a NEW CANDIDATE to arrive, too late in the election cycle so that there is NOT enough time to corral independent backing (manpower and dollars) to make a run possible. NOT MAKE A RUN POSSIBLE . . . unless. Here come O/J with their minion, . . . feeble, handpicked, groomed, and powerless. An ideal vassal.
With the full backing of the O/J machine, its money, its people, its political system, strategists, and again with its hundreds of millions of dollars — O/J delivers their President into the Oval Office. IMHO, O/J have not yet anointed their new head of state. They will pick the weakest one they can find and they will wait until the eleventh hour to let them know. It might be Biden who has not been heard from for a while, or it might be Warren who has also been hiding in the weeds. They’ve probably just been asked to stand down until further notice.
In their dreams, O/J have already won the next election, and furthermore they’ve already decided who would be on the ticket in five years, . . . Michelle Obama. Probably as VP, but on the ticket nonetheless.
We’ll watch this unfold with interest, but someone might want to let Hillary know, . . . get off the side of the road, . . . that’s not just a school bus coming.
A constituent of the vast baby boomer generation with a career which has been fortunate to know the ponderous corporate worlds, as well as the intimately pressurized, and invigorating entrepreneurial domains of high tech and venture capital, I have harvested my share of mistakes meandering through corridors of enterprise from Silicon Valley, to London and endless, colourful, sometimes praetorian points in between. The voyage has provided an abundance of fodder for a pen yielding to an inquisitive keyboard, a foraging mind, and a passionate spirit.
Whether political or business or social or economic or personal, is it not all political? It is a privilege to write, and an even greater privilege to be read by anyone, and sometimes with the wind at my back the writing may occasionally be legible. I do not write to invite scorn, nor to invite respect, but if I get really lucky the writing can stimulate thinking. I also write for the very selfish purpose of animating my own processes, and engaging the best of what life offers. Above all, whether biting fire or swatting shadows, I am grateful to be gifted the freedom to write and publish whatever flows down to the keyboard. To all those who enabled this freedom, and to all those standing guard to preserve it, I am indebted.
