IRAN – The Media’s Bucket-Hauling For This Administration Knows No Bounds

Unless you are sleeping in one of Iran’s hidden uranium enrichment bunkers where the isotope separation is proceeding apace, you are not protected from the incessant and toxic media coverage of the “Obama / Iran  almost-deal.”  There is no deal.  There never will be a deal.  Nevertheless, the left’s media machines are building the foundation for a “legacy.”

Iran supposedly has stockpiles of low-level enriched uranium. Will the Ayatollah agree to get rid of them and ship them off to Putin?  No chance.  As for the centrifuges, high level, low level, basic or more advanced, Iran will enrich. What’s Obama negotiating here, . .  how much time Iran should be given to “enrich”?   Will Iran make a bomb?  Why else has Iran entered the nuclear arms race?  To grow blueberries?    The Ayatollah will have his nuclear arms.

Sanctions? The Ayatollah won’t stand for any and will expect them to be lifted immediately.  But, but, but, . . . we’ll be inspecting, so can’t we lift them a little and then reinstate them if Iran cheats?   Inspect what exactly?  And where? The notion of inspections is a lie intended to skew our perceptions.  Iran is a vast and naturally wealthy country with well educated people, capable of doing the Ayatollah’s bidding, including hiding whatever he wants hidden.

And what’s that 10 year thing about?  Another kicking of a can down the road? 10 years from now the Ayatollah will be “converted” perhaps?

The Ayatollah is just as religiously entrenched as Obama is politically entrenched.  The real problem for the rest of the world is that both of these individuals believe that the end justifies the means — lying, cheating, fabricating, deception, and obstruction are all part of the process when egos are determined to achieve legacies. Egos are a powerful energy.  Remember last year when we were told that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) was unable to confirm Iran had not sought to develop nuclear weapons and referred Iran to the UN Security Council for failing to comply with the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty?  Let’s just ignore that minor event.

The Ayatollah will have his nuclear power and he will have his nuclear weapon capability, but his signature will never appear on an agreement, and yet, he is the supreme power in Iran.  Everyone else follows his despotic orders. Iran has succumbed to the enforcement of shari’a.

But other than all this, why should the world be concerned?  The answer lies in who is doing the negotiating.  Who is at the table on our side with any proven capacity for negotiating? Who can we trust for such a portentous endeavour?   This picture published by WaPo gives us a clue. Who makes up that illustrious group of negotiators in the posed-for picture?  Obama, Rice and Kerry, plus their handpicked gofers?  With little but failures scarring their track-records, they are fighting for our skins with a never present Ayatollah?

Regardless how deplorable the outcome of this engagement with the Ayatollah’s representatives, the western media is already covering for Obama, wrapping all outcomes in bright positive light, regardless of the truth.  WaPo today starts with instructing us that the state of the U.S. foreign policy is not Obama’s fault and that Bush is to blame. Sure, the whole Middle East is aflame, much of it at the hands of this Administration, but let’s bring up Bush again and throw it at him. He’s an easy target who’s not been around for six years.  WaPo works overtime to sell us Obama’s “vision” and to sell us on his unique brilliance in pivoting on Iran, and peddling that,  “He can describe in minute detail the number and type of centrifuges that Iran would be allowed to retain under a deal.”  It’s almost as if sycophantic Jarrett wrote the article herself.

The media is desensitizing us to the eventuality that Iran is on its way to becoming a Nuclear power.  The ruthless and violent psychopaths who control Iran, who have slaughtered millions, and from whom millions have fled, will have nuclear bombs and the missiles to deliver them.

There can be no deal between Obama and Iran because the Ayatollah will not allow one to stand.  Legacy?  What legacy?  Oh yes, of course, the Ayatollah’s nuclear legacy.
