Benghazi And The Lies Of Obama

Members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, chaired by Senator John Kerry, have circulated a bipartisan letter asking for “an accounting of the attacks against U.S. missions in Egypt, Libya, and Yemen,” from President Obama. The Senators also want to know what advance warnings the administration had of the attacks and whether the administration shared that information with the personnel involved in the attacks.

They are also asking why the administration refused to acknowledge that the attacks were planned by Al Qaeda for several days after the attacks.

This is significant, because of it being the first time Democrats have questioned the administration’s foreign policy and its integrity.

Soon after the attack, the administration’s intel picked up the celebratory announcements of al Qaeda as they reported the successful attack on the consulate in Benghazi.

In the hours following the 9/11 anniversary attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, U.S. intelligence agencies monitored communications from jihadists affiliated with the group that led the attack and members of Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM), the group’s North African affiliate.

In the communications, members of Ansar al-Sharia (AAS) bragged about their successful attack against the American consulate and the U.S. ambassador, according to three U.S. intelligence officials who spoke to The Daily Beast anonymously because they were not authorized to talk to the press.

Soon afterward Jay Carney and Ambassador Rice were lying to the public to protect the president’s image so close to the election and after saying he had neutralized al Qaeda after the assassination of Bin Ladin and multiple successful drone strikes.

Is this enough to swamp the presidency of Obama, who referred to attacks and deaths of Ambassador Stevens and three other Americans as bumps in the road?

Are the American people willing to live behind a curtain of deceit, fabricated solely to make Obama look good. This seems to be the level of truth in the Obama Administration, everything is equivocated on how it makes Obama appear to the public.

Without a doubt Americans died and Obama lied, along with Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, and Jay Carney. The president has steadfastly maintains the attacks were provoked by an anti-Islam film made by a dubious Coptic Christian, even though he knew his accusations were lies.

The president fanned the flames of hatred and outrage by telling the world that the U.S. condemned the film, to the extent of buying air-time in Pakistan for his apology.

In his apology was the implication that American principles were up for negotiation in regard to free speech and religion, especially the religion of Islam, by saying the freedom of speech does not give you the right to insult religion, unless it is Christianity or the Jewish religion.

Despite The Reassurances and Lies of Obama, We Are Still Vulnerable To Terrorists

As details continue to be exposed, it is obvious the president has no intention of telling the American people the truth, nor can we believe Hilary Clinton, Susan Rice, or Jay Carney. The lies are being told and retold for political reasons, to help insure Obama’s reelection; there is no pretense of national security at stake, therefore the lies give even more cause for alarm.

The administration feels there is no danger in living and telling lies, because the MSM is essentially a state-directed propaganda service for the president. Refusing to call the Fort Hood shootings of Major Hassan a terrorist attack and having a compliant media has only enabled this president and his lies. The Underwear Bomber with its security failures was once again an example of a compliant press covering for their propaganda director. His reactions and callousness toward terror leads Americans to believe, as he has said regarding the attack and deaths in Benghazi, that terror is more of an inconvenience, a series of bumps in the road.

The common deception, shared by Obama, the media, and the Left is that Obama is universally loved around the world and especially in the Middle East. This self-inflicted deceit is one of the primary reasons Obama’s foreign policy is a complete and utter failure in the Middle East.

Appeasing our enemies in the Middle East and negotiating from weakness rather than strength only emboldens our enemies and makes our allies reassess their positions.
