Their vulgarity and credulity consumes us as if they are a brute force of overpowering barbarity; but in the final analysis, it is we who gave them this pretense of competent leadership by which they trapped us so securely. With dramatic effect we rage to express our indignation and outrage; sadly, the dry humor of this sad comedy mocks us; for we are the players or actors of this sublime tragic comedy and we have written our own script.
There is one way to rid ourselves of this dismal disaster, vote him out of office.

When you dig into this well covered-over story, you realize that the infamous picture showing Obama bowing to the Saudi king, may well have had a very personal rationale. Obama was very likely demonstrating gratitude for past support. America went, “Huh?” and it was never explained. Well, . . . .
Most of my liberal (and otherwise) friends who were on the Obama train…..just don’t want to talk about it. They don’t want to discuss it. Mostly, they blame “extremist” republicans (tea party racists), rich people, and Bush for everything that they have been through under this admin and feel Obama is getting a bad rap. It’s called “denial”. It’s one of the stages that will eventually lead to acceptance that Obama was simply NOT a good nor effective president.

The plot is more fantastic than a modern novel of political intrigue, and even more so when you realize the American people fell for the BS and let it happen. Unbelievably, our presidential candidate is still likely to say Obama is a nice man just in over his head. This is the extent to which the ruse has worked on America, we will be paying Obama compliments as the country and our freedoms are destroyed.

Again yesterday, I heard those words come out of Romney’s mouth. I’ve heard it from Sean Hannity and others, and I must admit that I am astonished at their lack of intuitive cognition. This ‘nice guy’ tripe is absurd. To use an extreme as example, wasn’t O.J. known by everybody as a nice guy? There are plenty of guys who can appear so. Most really nice guys don’t know how to play a crowd.
Even if you ignore Obama’s history completely even his ‘I’m-Mr-Present’ ineptitude, and simply listen to what he says, read his energy, then if you want to get more critical you look at facts, . . . . doesn’t you gut say, “Hold on a minute. I smell hypocrisy?” or “Hold on a minute. I smell serious arrogance?”
He’s not a ‘nice’ guy, but he IS a glad-hander who’ll not only sell his mother, he’ll deliver.
Not only does O’Bama make ineptitude the new normal; he also makes giving excuses more acceptable than taking responsibility. Romney / Ryan need to step it up. I pray that Mitt is being coached in pricking of the pres. during the debates so O’Chamelion will reveal his psycho-sanguine colors. I just registered some kids at a voter registration drive at the high School. All of them registered unaffiliated or independent. None of them wanted to be associated with either party. I know when I was growing up, the convention only kept me from seeing the summer TV shows.
There were quite a few kids who said they were not political. They were also the ones who didn’t know what they were doing after High School. They also didn’t register.
The teachers at the school were careful to not mention who they supported, but the janitor was very anti administration. He understood the implications of the high national debt and the foreign policy issues. The teachers didn’t.

Pale Horse, the Obama Scope cracked me up. We need a good laugh once in a while.
No one has asked why I used the illustration of the early man and soon to be a family.
I thought the concept of algebraic thinking would have made inroads with people after two million years. You know, that extra special reasoning that requires simple algebraic equations: 2A + B = C. If we deny this simple reasoning, we are back to the level of these early specimens; except for one minor problem. Most of us don’t have the knowledge to survive in their world.
So where does that leave people who can’t reason and don’t have the basics of survival? It leaves them in the hands of a nanny government, where they are cared for and protected.
JR, in your business, I am sure you have seen guys who tried to impress everyone with their expertise, when in reality they were morally and ethically bankrupt, and literally bankrupt as well. In my rough and tumble world, we called them four flushers; those who try to play a useless poker hand as if it was a winner.
I think Obama is four flusher (has nothing to do with a toilet) and four flushers are not nice guys. I’ve heard Hannity make the remark several times, and I am flabbergasted at his naiveté.
I think Romney and Hannity needed to spend a week with me on the race track to learn about life and the variety of characters you can meet where the hoof meets the turf. They would have a different attitude toward four flushers and phonies; assuming they could hack life in the raw, where mistakes are costly and you learn to judge men and their character quickly.

If you can get a positive sense for an individual, the sense that he/she has a reasonable degree of confidence, your relationship with that person will be a positive experience, regardless what its nature might be. That might be a friend, a business relationship, or someone you’re electing to office.
I don’t mean self-centeredness, or arrogance, or narcissism, but deep in their core self-confidence. Insecure individuals, will screw you. Period. They can be glad-handers for a while, slap you on the back as if you’re their best friend, but when push comes to shove, the knife will be firmly planted in your back.
That will never occur if you seek others with that magic element. It’s not the easiest thing to find. An elected official with insecurity, is absolutely the worst individual a voting public can vote for. When successful, that individual turns into a monster.
In all my business hirings, confidence has been the first quality I looked for. Everything else came second. Without the First, nothing else mattered. Insecurity is a bitch. Even on personal fronts, I encouraged my kids to look for that element when considering long term partners.
I’m sure anyone who has worked in an environment where a co-worker, for example, betrayed them, it is guaranteed that the co-worker was insecure.
That insecurity also presents itself in the example you note of “morally and ethical bankruptcy.” The individual does know who he/she really is, and hasn’t found their own centre. How can Principles emanate from such a mind? They can’t.

Rich, is it possible, the MSM is purposely avoiding the mention of the TEA Party to convince people it is inactive. They have no problem coordinating each day’s talking points and direction.
Bees, by study, we are given the chance to learn reasoning. The accumulation of facts is not all that useful in the game of life; it is the ability to reason that helps us make correct decisions. When you rely on an external force: government, parents, neighbors, you aren’t required to reason or use logic to survive. These people made everyday decisions to survive, some lived and some died as a result of those decisions.
They had no formal training, everything they needed for life had to be learned from their parents or a tribe member quickly, since there was an extremely short life expectancy.
We all have the advantage of greater resources for learning and learning to reason. Yet a few of us want to follow our instincts, “He’s a nice guy,” “I like his smile,” “He seems to know what he is doing” rather than evaluating the cold hard facts and making a decision as to whether you want to invest four more years in a jobless recovery that can’t be defined.

@Skookum: Skook, there are folks in TX who understand where the Tea Party is. I have many volunteers in my house district who are walking the streets knocking on doors. That is the tea party. They communicate through modern media and get their motivation every day by seeing what this administration has done. They do not wear name tags or tea-shirts! They are just people who are concerned about where this country is going.
Not only is Romney a draft dodger and tax avoider (that’s what offshore accounts are for) but he’s just plain stupid—-“I wonder why this aircraft’s windows won’t open at 30,000 feet, to let some air in”. Conservative would do anything to get Obama out of office—even if it was wrong.

CNN MSNBC and others in their news casts also editorialize. One can not tell the difference between the news and their commentary. So, your bringing in Hannity is comparing bananas to rasberries.
Rich, it does get old, indeed, but just as Conservatives control the radio, Progressives control print and video; but with a unique caveat, the radio personalities are independent and they often don’t even like each other. I only listen while I drive and since I drive in different areas at different times, I hear some from all of them and they do not necessarily have a coordinated message, whew, that’s for damn sure.
Progressive video and print personalities are much too obvious in their coordination or perhaps they lack imagination, but you rarely get a different perspective.
I admire the radio personalities because they live or die on the uniqueness and originality, and of course their message. In print and video, these differences are neutralized by producing a homogenous message. The pretty face or the deep reassuring voice tends to carry the day. In a manner of comparison, the Conservative radio personalities are all in direct competition, partly because of their medium, but mainly because of their message and personality.
This is why I am tired of the MSM or at least part of the reason.
