Obama, the “yes we can” President, has become a joke. He was always been a joke with conservatives but now the independents have been let in on the joke while the left is upset at how ineffectual he has been in pushing their Socialist dreams.
So how can Obama and his friends change this?
Why, by making a movie about the only thing he did right and releasing it a few weeks before the election….that’s how:
The White House clearly blessed the dramatic reconstruction of the mission by Nicholas Schmidle in The New Yorker — so vividly descriptive of the Seals’ looks, quotes and thoughts that Schmidle had to clarify after the piece was published that he had not actually talked to any of them.
“I’ll just say that the 23 Seals on the mission that evening were not the only ones who were listening to their radio communications,” Schmidle said, answering readers’ questions in a live chat, after taking flak for leaving some with the impression that he had interviewed the heroes when he wrote in his account that it was based on “some of their recollections.”
The White House is also counting on the Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal big-screen version of the killing of Bin Laden to counter Obama’s growing reputation as ineffectual. The Sony film by the Oscar-winning pair who made “The Hurt Locker” will no doubt reflect the president’s cool, gutsy decision against shaky odds. Just as Obamaland was hoping, the movie is scheduled to open on Oct. 12, 2012 — perfectly timed to give a home-stretch boost to a campaign that has grown tougher.
The moviemakers are getting top-level access to the most classified mission in history from an administration that has tried to throw more people in jail for leaking classified information than the Bush administration.
It was clear that the White House had outsourced the job of manning up the president’s image to Hollywood when Boal got welcomed to the upper echelons of the White House and the Pentagon and showed up recently — to the surprise of some military officers — at a C.I.A. ceremony celebrating the hero Seals.

I would love to have a good movie about the mission and the heroes that took part it in but when it’s obviously being done to boost this man’s image, I cannot abide. I mean giving hollywood producers and writers access to highly classified intel?

I also have an idea for a movie. It’s about a President who needs a boost in the polls and a diversion from the bad economy. He jumps on some phony intel leaked on purpose and sends 22 SEALS into an ambush and they’re all killed.
Will they model the storyline on Hamlet “If it is to come let it be now” with something is rotten in the State of WashDish and who will be King Claudius stirring up madness within the court. Rihanna will she play Valerie Jarrett or will Valerie be male or female? That is the question.

And if it was sub-par, why would that be Obama’s fault, given that the development of high-dollar military equipment like a helicopter would have had to begin during the Bush administration (maybe even the Clinton Administration) for it to be available today? I’m not defending Obama there, just being honest about the procurement process for such equipment.
3) You’ll not get any disagreement with me about defense cutbacks — but they don’t appear to be related to what all accounts indicate was a shoot-down, not an equipment failure.

So, this type was used in a pinch.
A rescue by SEALs of Rangers in trouble was the pinch.

They went after an allegedly high value target. SEAL Team 6 takes on those missions.

The MD-47 Chinook is a favorite of the Night Stalkers because of the way they can do troop inserts. Unfortunately, this is the same type of helicopter that was brought down in 2005 killing 8 Navy Seals and 8 Night Stalkers trying to rescue Marcus Luttrell and his SeAL team. In his book, Lone Survivor, Luttrell even talks about the Taliban having a plan for taking down the Chinook. They wait for the rear doors to be open and fire an RPG into the aircraft blowing up the fuel tanks. I think the Night Stalkers need to reconsider using this helicopter for troop inserts, but I don’t have all the facts. Someone definitely needs to look into it though.

I was watching a special on MSLSD about the Seal Team and how they took OBL’s compound. I cannot remember the name of the NBC correspondent who was interviewed as part of that show, but he was calling Obama gutsy for making the call to go after OBL. Then he said, (paraphrase) “I couldn’t read his emotions. I wouldn’t want to play poker with the president (Obama).”
Sheesh, it was really sad to see this guy suck up to Obama like that.
This movie will not be something I go see if it is just an infomercial for Obama.

The reality of Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. going to the golf course to catch 18 while those under his command leave on the most dangerous mission of their lives will not be shown. Nor will it be mentioned that Valerie Jarrett did her damn level best to discourage Obama from this mission, but was overruled in a basic coup by Hillary Clinton, Leon Panetta and Bob Gates.
