I give thanks to those in The House of Representatives for having the courage to say Yes to health care/insurance reform. i predict that 20 years from now – universal health/medical care shall become a part of our culture as it is in all other industrialized nations. The succeeding generations will wonder what all the brouhaha was about. There were loud expressions of disagreement to Social Security, the WPA, The Civil Rights Bill, The Medicare Bill during those earlier times too. We should give this a chancee to work, and it will – for all of us. I just regret I will not be with you to see it all happen.

You will be around long enough to see it work… or, as one of those now deemed “non productive” citizen types … to see it not work for you. Fear not.. I’m only a few years behind you. I’ve been at 2 T-Parties here in the SanFran/San Jose area, and we’ve had dozens of Americans who happen to be Black, Hispanic, and even some Asians and Indi/Paks. The ethnic percentages were about what we have here overall. The counter-protesters were ALL WHITE.
Just kinda depends on who is motivated to get out there for a cause, isn’t it, Patvann. But those like billy bob and rich little wheeler will continue class warfare by the broad paintbrush none the less.
An aversion to fiscal irresponsibility is not a race issue. It is an American and a Constitutional issue.

This is a theater of ideas, wit, and debate; unless, I’ve made a mistake, please tell me what relevance having a dubious friendship makes compared to unvalidated claims of racism that are meant to malign and dishearten the Patriots on this thread.
I am personally so tired of the racist bigotry of minorities and the continual efforts at race baiting and trying desperately to equate any statement as racially motivated. Mike, my diverse tangents were meant to defuse escalating emotions with salacious tales from history. Some of us were distraught over the day’s proceedings; laughter is a diversion that often helps soothe the savage breast, while providing a glimpse into the theater of the absurd.

I’ve been at 2 T-Parties here in the SanFran/San Jose area, and we’ve had dozens of Americans who happen to be Black, Hispanic, and even some Asians and Indi/Paks. The ethnic percentages were about what we have here overall. The counter-protesters were ALL WHITE.

As far as letting the moonbats have their way, it does serve a purpose (incidentally the topic of my very first post here) in that casual readers, of which I am sure there are many(I was one for a couple of years before joining in the discussions) can see the over the top statements, “facts” without proof, and general ideology of them. I have every faith in the world that you or Mata or Patvann, or A.C., or some other author or reader will provide the firepower to smack them down. As for this discussion on this thread in particular, it got way out of hand, and I didn’t even get to read the deleted posts (I’m sure that I am better off for it too. 🙂 ).
