Pay particular attention to this statement made by Eric Holder during sworn testimony last week before Congress:

In regard to potential prosecution of the press for the disclosure of material. This is not something I’ve ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be wise policy.

Ed’s emphasis above misses what I think is an important, damning piece of the puzzle. Holder started the comment by saying “In regard to potential prosecution of the press…” He then went on to deny he was ever involved in something like that.

The problem for Holder is that we now know he personally signed off on the order to get a subpoena for Fox News’ James Rosen’s phone records. The entire basis of the warrant for those records relies on Rosen being a potential conspirator and therefore potentially prosecuted.

It’s interesting that their are Democrats calling for his resignation too. Of course, I’m of the belief that the only reason they are jumping on the bandwagon is to remove a public reminder of the lawlessness of this administration and to protect Obama, his “legacy”, and the Democratic party in general.

Will the mainstream media actually begin covering this administration. For four and a half years the media have been cheerleaders. Is THIS the turning point?
