Our friends at MSNBC have recently covered the “crisis” in Eastern Europe, and of course, how can you cover such a situation without presenting a map of the surrounding countries? But as some of our older comrades notice, (including our People’s Director) something’s… a bit off with the picture. Do you see it? Over to the left there’s a little country called Czechoslovakia; of course, this country hasn’t actually existed for over 20 years now.
Our Progressive comrades have not made a mistake, however; they’re just illustrating their brilliant expertise in Common Core Geography, where old, worn out ideas of “borders” and “national identities” are nothing more than the similarly blasphemous concepts of “freedom” and “individuality”, which are considered detrimental to our cause.
A long time ago I remember reading that the federal government picked the same company over and over to buy their history books from. The company knew they would be getting the contract, so why go to the expense of updating the books, so they didn’t. The students were being taught stuff that didn’t exist any more.

The same way as when they show a map of the Middle East and the show the name of “Israel” instead of the name of “Palestine”…they should at least give it the name of “state of Israel” in “Palestine”.

Really? When did a state called Palestine ever exist? Did you know that the so-called “palestinian” Arabs have no cultural differentiation from Egyptians, Syrians or Jordanians? That those people WERE given a rather large state of their own, called TransJordan?

So far, there is no such country as Palestine. Can you supply a link that says it is a country? I’m guessing that if the palestinians didn’t have the sole intention of destroying Israel, they probably could have been a country by now. The only reason they exist is to kill Israelis.

Please keep in mind that Ponce and other liberals could have been educated in public schools that didn’t teach HISTORY. Instead, they could have been brainwashed into believing whatever the school wanted the students to believe. For many years now, the propaganda machine has been brainwashing the students to believe what the government wants them to believe. Give him a little time to absorb the new info he is getting now that he is out of the propaganda school and can find the truth, if he is looking for it.
I do have a 1948 National Geographic that show not only the name of Palestine but also the oil rigs in Gaza.

@Ponce: Is Gaza a country or a region? Palestine has never in the history of the World been a country, only a region. Has any one ever heard of a state called the West Coast of the US? I have never heard of it unless it is one of the 57 states our president planned to visit. Name the leaders of the country of Palestine prior to 1948. Has anyone ever heard of the country of Iberia? I bet the people speak Iberian.
The Indians in the Amazon have been there for hundred of years and each tribe knows from where to where is their land, even without a name…… In the old days I Palestine all the you needed was the key’s to a house to show that you were the owner…….that’s why the Zionist Israelis are taking advantage of this by saying that the Pals have permit to claim ownership…whey the Zionist invaded the land they choose the best gardens and the best place to grow vegetable and claim it as theirs……look at the old photos from before 1948 and you will see how beatifull it was……..at that time the Jews were 8% who were the owners of 5% of the land. All this is a matter of record and not of heresay……… because your property doesn’t have a name doesn’t mean that someone else can make a claim to it………by the way, I have a “Land Patent” for my property, look it up.
