Bigger Than Jesus: The One Guy Who Successfully Signed Up For ObamaCare Currently the World’s Most Interesting Man, According to the MSM

Ace:

Some guy made a comment on Twitter: If he’s this much of an abnormality that all the media are interviewing him — just him — isn’t this a sign that something is badly, badly wrong?

This is worse than Spinal Tap. If one guy shows up for a concert, you don’t run a hundred articles in 40 different media outlets saying “LOOK HOW AWESOME THIS GUY THINKS SPINAL TAP IS!”

You say: Shit Sandwich.

But the media is dishonest, stupid, and comically partisan.

I’ve now been interviewed by The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post,Chattanooga Times Free Press, The Huffington Post, Enroll America, and POLITICO!! Those stories will be published in the coming days. I have a press conference call with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services later tonight. Also, local folks….. my interview with Kimberly Barbour Wrcb-tv will be aired TONIGHT at 5:30pm on WRCB Channel 3 Eyewitness News so be sure to check it out thanks for all your support!

Chances are you will soon be hearing the name Chad Henderson and his heroic story of enrolling successfully in a health care exchange. His is a saga of hope and redemption. If Chad can do it, maybe the millions of other health young people needed to financially support this program can too.

So, is he even 27?
Or could he have been covered by daddy and mommy but – as a Dem operative – he signed up for PR purposes?

@Nan G: How DARE you insinuate that the Dems would even consider to put forth a Red Herring.

@Nan G: #1
You didn’t mention how much he is paying for obamacare.

Kliff reports that after a three-hour ordeal, Chad bought an Obamacare plan that cost him $175 per month – pretty steep, considering he makes less than $11,500 per year. His Obamacare premium comes to least 18 percent of his income. And no, Chad is not eligible for subsidies.

Compare that to what Chad could have paid if he bought one of the pre-Obamacare plans still available on eHealthInsurance.com until December 31. The cheapest such plan for someone meeting Chad’s profile is just $44.72 – as little as 5 percent of his annual income and about one-quarter of his Obamacare premium.

Perhaps he didn’t really sign up at all according to his father.

I had asked in post #1:

Turns out he is only 21.
Indeed his family can cover him on their insurance for another 6 years.
Their coverage for him had only cost $44 a month.
His ”new” ObamaCare insurance will cost him between $175 and $200 per month with large out-of-pocket deductables until he reaches his yearly limit.
He earns only $11,500 per year.
Let’s see….$2,100/year plus another $2,000 in deductables means ObamaCare is probably going to be the biggest chunk of his budget….if he gets sick.
Nearly 20% of his before taxes income as long as he’s healthy.
