Because Donald Trump has nothing to say that anyone other than his supporters want to hear, and they’re a lost cause already. Biden can get his message out without a televised fight with the playground bully. Undecided voters can listen more carefully to what Biden is saying without interruptions or distractions. They can think about it, and decide for themselves.

Nearly all of the criticism from Trump’s fan base has been as irrelevant as your own. They won’t address any specific points Biden raised because that would only call attention to them, and Trump supporters have no answers for them.
