MY Dad and 4 uncles fought the Japs. The “Flying Tiger” uncle forbid the NYTImes on his property 70years ago. he said they said ‘We fought the Japs because we were “white nationalists”!”.!
In 1959 I was in school library trying to understand Beowulf. Library had many American dictionaries but only 1 English Dictionary; so I waited a lot. Spent my wait time reading microfiche YTimes. Read 1943 til I had 6 articles saying my kin were White nationalists. Did agin with 1944 and 1945. I stopped after 6 articles; but am sure there were more.
