Thank you Obama care for cutting my son’s hours @ work. He is working @ McDonald’s w/ 38 hours a week now 28. He will be job hunting now

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi famously said of Obamacare: “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what’s in it.“
Nearly three years later, many Americans are beginning to discover what’s in it.
Taco Bell employees in Oklahoma City, Okla., found out.
Wendy’s employees in Obama, Neb., found out.
And now many other low-wage workers (and their relatives) are finding out, too.

@lindzka What’s not awesome about it: I cut all my part timers below 28 hours/week.But I’m glad there are parts that benefit my friends.

Welcome to the 35 hour work week.
I think all employers should pass the cost on to customers. If it raises a merchants cost by 3% they should show an Obamacare charge of 3%. It’s only fair.
You have to wonder how many of the people who are in these jobs where the hours are being cut thought that voting for Obama Claus would allow “free” stuff to just fall from the sky….And any of the morons out there tweeting about receiving “free” stuff truly shows how clueless some voters really are in todays society.
Just because something is provided to you at a reduced or no cost does not mean it’s free….It means somebody is working hard so the gov’t can take from them and give to you…Unfortuntely in a Moocher society they usually don’t care who’s footing the bill as long as somebody else is.
While I may end up shelling out more in taxes to provide “free” stuff for the Moocher society, and yes it pisses me off to no end, I haven’t yet begun to suffer for it.
I do find some enjoyment that at least some of the Obama voters may be starting to figure out that they aren’t going to come out so sweet in this deal either and are starting to feel the squeeze.
I hope they enjoy every day of it for the next 4 years…
Yes, I can be that vindictive and I am ok with it…
I’d say many who are in this situation are blaming their employer. They haven’t made the Obamacare connection.
This graph depicts the 3.3 million people who have fallen off the BLS’s statistics, by being so discouraged that they’re not even counted as part of the labor force anymore.
Note the sudden drop then it levels off at Obama’s ”new normal.”
Any other president who cared more about America, business, working people and less about socialist, dependency-based ideology would have turned that into a rising line heading back (if not already back) to the OLD normal.
Not Obama.
If my guess is correct we will be seeing yet another drop off on this graph as MORE full-time employees are dumped because of ObamaCare.
Then another leveling out at the new new normal.
Yikes!

The Real Employment Situation
The people who are enjoying this ride are those that never worked and do not plan to work. Life is probably still pretty good for them. They love that “free stuff”.
It’s a feature, not a bug. It makes that many more people dependant on the government.
