…the logs are missing the names of thousands of other visitors to the White House, including lobbyists, government employees, campaign donors, policy experts and friends of the first family, according to an investigation by the Center for Public Integrity.
The White House website proudly boasts of making available “over 1,000,000 records of everyone who’s come through the doors of the White House” via a searchable database.
Yet the Center’s analysis shows that the logs routinely omit or cloud key details about the identity of visitors, whom they met with and the nature of their visits. The logs even include the names of people who never showed up. These are critical gaps that raise doubts about the records’ historical accuracy and utility in helping the public understand White House operations, from social events to meetings on key policy debates.
Among the many weaknesses found by the Center’s review of the database:
More administration transparency. The logs are transparent! Since there’s nothing written on them, you can see right through them!

Wasn’t there big news a few weeks ago that Obama and his lobbyists were meeting, not at the WH, but elsewhere just so the logs could be bypassed?

Have to wonder what else is missing. joe falls asleep during speach..What trash..wonder what joe’s and opie’s urine drug screen would show..Ever wonder why opie and the rest of the cabinet is not drug screened like other federal employees..? The garbage actions of this administration are so bad…but what did you expect from an alleged lawyer who has never been barred in any state and was part of the banking fraud and poor loans in Chi. This is a very serious situation dealing with executive level malfeasance alikened to insider trading or preemptive disclosure of secret or strategic information. People go to jail for extended periods of time for such excesses yet participants within this administration seem impervious to punishment. These side meetings at Caribou Coffee, near White House, are very disturbing, this is akin to mail drops and listening posts as parts of seasoned John LaCarre’ spycraft. The executive from a public traded corporation, nor members of his strategic staff, have personal time or wherewithal conducting existential exchanges of valued information at an exercise gym, island resort, country club, or Caribou Coffee. Allen & Company, annually published, executive gatherings in Colorado do take place but all meetings effecting the evaluation of a publicly traded corporation must be assigned to the company’s corporate minutes. Consider Alpha is CEO #1, followed by Beta, Gamma, Delta of whom B, G, or D receives or transmits true or false (red herring) “tip” information. The information exchange is malfeasance which Alpha, upon receipt, would immediately discredit with case to fire or prosecute the staff executve involved in the disclosure. Obviously O’BasketCase is not an honest Alpha because of sheer ignorance with inexperience he manages and mines such informational favors.
