What Would Cause President Obama to Cancel a Fundraiser?

What “tragedy” would be horrific enough for President Obama to cancel his usual schedule of speeches, lunches and fundraisers?

A commercial airliner shot down over Ukraine with Americans aboard?  No.

How about a terrorist attack on the American consulate in Benghazi on the anniversary of 9/11, killing our ambassador and three others? No.

Perhaps news that Israel has begun a ground offensive in the Gaza Strip? No way.

Obviously our president believes that any change to his schedule is a sign of weakness (and God forbid our commander in chief appear weak).

So today, despite the breaking news of possible Russian involvement with the missile attack against a Malaysian Airlines airliner carrying 295 passengers, crew and over 20 Americans, President Obama forged ahead with his previously planned infrastructure speech in Delaware. (But first he paused for a few seconds to say, “looks like it may be a terrible tragedy.” ) Then he proceeded as normal, including some lighthearted remarks.

Afterwards, he grabbed a burger and fries (“I’m starving” he was quoted as saying), and tonight he will attend a few fundraisers in New York. Just a typical day in the life of our 44th president. Obama is aiding world tranquility after all!

Therefore, my question is what kinds of national or international “tragedies”  would cause President Obama to cancel his fundraisers, partisan speeches and visits to burger joints?

If he heard all the invitees to the fundraiser were broke citizens that had been out of work since 2008.

If he found out that all the people at his next fund raiser were TEA partiers.

if he is told there is a terrorist in the group,
which is targeting him,

Sociopath. Been saying it for a long time.

Upon arriving at the White House last night, Obama had racked up 397 fund raisers in his 66 months in office. That comes to a total of slightly more than 6 fund raisers per month.

We now have a president that is so disengaged that even the left is calling him out on it. It seems like Obama, who cares naught if he gets anything done in the next year and a half, is simply going to enjoy the perks of being the President of the United States. When the NY Times is pointing that out, he has problems. Should Republicans take the Senate in November, it will only get worse as Obama, and his minions, realize he is truly a lame duck in office.

We have gone from “hope and change” to “partying on the tax payer’s dime, cost be damned”.

What might work is learning how many supporters he is losing.

President Obama massively dropped the ball just now. 23 Americans killed and he says ‘it looks like a terrible tragedy’ then back to jokes? @piersmorgan

Let me help, Mr President – it IS a terrible tragedy, and it’s more probably mass murder of your citizens & many other nations’ citizens. @piersmorgan

this is so terrible, the PRIME MINISTER OF AUSTRALIA said it should not go unpunish,
by the RUSSIA’S BACK RUSSIANS EXTREMISTS,
GUILTY AS HELL,

Gee, oMuslim once again proves that he intends to stand primarily with Muslims and Islam. He said he’d stand with Islam and now he’s done so yet again.

What a surprise huh?

Even more disturbing is the fact that this clearly counts as one of the extremely rare occurrences where 0Muslim actually stayed true to his word. And it all has to do with Muslims and Islam.

This is no coincidence (regardless of what the pro-0Muslim DemRino trolls say).

Meanwhile, we American citizens need stay focused on the many current problems in our own country rather than allowing ourselves to be distracted by all the crazy stuff going on around the world.

Btw, why anyone would patronize that particularly troubled airline these days is beyond me. Hopefully air travelers, including tax write-off junket trippers, will learn to think before they patronize just any airline…
