h/t Instapundit:
The Virginia Republican Party did not run candidates in 33 races for seats in either the state Senate or the House of Delegates.
According to a review of the state election results from Tuesday, Democrats faced no Republican challenger in 10 out of 40 Senate races or 25 percent.
The Republicans had no candidate on the ballot in 23 out of 100 House of Delegates races or 23 percent.
The Democrats won control of the Senate and House of Delegates for the first time in 26 years.
Sounds like the Virginia GOP is as lame as the Kommieforniastan GOP. sad
@Boris Badenov: With the margin won by in the presidential election looks like they put the Virgina government in cruise control and left the driver seat to take a nap.
