Tucker went on Fox to discuss the Daily Caller’s latest story exposing Media Matters donors. Near the end of the clip he’s asked about the media reaction to his week long series:
Steve Doocy: Finally, this has been such an explosive series that you’ve had at the Daily Caller exposing what these people at Media Matters are doing and yet, aside from a few blogs and the Fox News Channel, really hasn’t gotten much traction in the mainstream media, which floors me. I mean if Karl Rove were…if a right leaning group were coordinating with Karl Rove during the George Bush days to try and bring down the New York Times this would be a gigantic story. You saw someone from the Washington Post last night and you approached them.
Tucker Carlson: I did. Yes, I ran into someone I know from the Washington Post last night and I pointed out that if I had a memo saying that Fox had done this, holy smokes, this would be a Pulitzer prize winning series. No, there’s been basically a media black out on this.
I’m not one of those conservatives who whines about left wing bias in the media. I hate whining in general, but if there was ever, ever a case study in willful blindness in collective bias it’s this. I mean look, most reporters agree fundamentally with the aims of Media Matters and so just better to ignore it. Better not to report on it.
No, the press are more corrupt even than I think people think. It’s pretty distressing really if you think about it.

Tucker is right about the egregious double standard. It would surely be front page news and indeed international news if Rove had been found meeting weekly with a group whose stated purpose was to destroy the Times or the Post. There would follow a week-long cacophony of outrage which included comparisons to Nixon and suggestions that it was crossing a line which no previous President had crossed. Someone would compare it to censorship efforts in China.
The thing that is distressing is the “Big Donors” to media matters backs the garbage and lies media matters throws out there….AND baseless stories serving as “fact” with absolutely nothing to back them up is eaten and digested as gospel to the willful ignorant among us….
Sadly, somehow we now need to muddle through our lives digging ourselves out of the bull SHIT thrown our way by pathetic journaliesm and smut….never mind the Lefty Zombies and mostly all of our politicians…

Smile America-the crap media which is governmental controlled just screwed you again. The NYT, WSJ, and the WP are all politically controlled news medias. ABC and NBC have already indicated that they will act as “the voice” for the idiot’s re-election.
The media have been deeply corrupted. First by its members moving back and forth between media jobs and Democrat administrations…and probably, also by money and insider information.
It is clear that if media members want to maintain access they have to toe the Obama line. There are facts they must never ask about or attempt to assertain.

Google Larry Sinclair. Also it is rumored The One lived in the foreign students’ dorm at Occidental…should be easy enough to check, but no one will. How about his passport records? When he entered a religious school in Indonesia as a child did he hold Indonesian citizenship. I understand that was the law at that time.
Where are his parents marriage license? How did his mother birth him and a few days later enter college in Washington state? Who took care of the baby?
What about his wife’s six figure job at a Chicago hospital? She was a PR person and got that much? What was Obama’s relationship with Tony Rezko? You know, the rackateer now in prison.
What the media wants to cover is the sex live of Palin’s children.
