The United States will switch course on climate change and pull out of a global pact to cut emissions, said Myron Ebell, who headed U.S. President Donald Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) transition team until his inauguration.
“(Trump) could do it by executive order tomorrow or he could do it as part of a larger package,” Ebell told a conference in London on Monday. “I have no idea of the timing.”
Trump, a climate change doubter, campaigned on a pledge to boost the U.S. oil and gas drilling and coal mining industries by slashing regulation. He also promised to pull the United States out of the Paris Agreement aimed at curbing global warming.
Trump’s administration has asked the EPA to temporarily halt all contracts, grants and interagency agreements pending a review, according to sources.
I’m fine with environmental stewardship, we should want to leave our kids a world at least as good as the one we inherited, but the global warming scaremongering is enough to put you off your feed. Naturally, Armageddon looms if we leave this agreement:

One of the best moves possible. The only manufacturing country in the world that was even attempting to abide by the Paris deal was the US and all we were accomplishing was lost jobs. Anybody has to be an idiot to believe the Morons promoting this junk “pseudo-science”. There would be no impact on the climate if the US stays in or gets out.

The deal never would have been Senate approved so obama back doored it like he did so many things that we not in the countries best interest.
The initial Kyoto Protocol and the following climate agreements have all been about spreading the wealth around. For western countries to comply with the SGW protocols, industry had to move to 3rd world countries that were not a party to the agreements. Industry in those countries did not need to comply with the CO2 limits and they didn’t comply with any other environmental regulations that western industry was required to comply with. The, in addition to the loss of industry to 3rd world countries, global leaders stuck the US with far reaching trade agreements to further restrict the growth of western economies. It appears that Trump is about to change much of that.
Thankfully Gov. Jerry Brown will continue to work and spend tirelessly to save our planet from the scourge that is MMGCC or whatever they’re calling it today. I’m so thankful, that as a resident of Kommieforniastan that I can contribute in the form of higher energy prices to save the planet from the disaster that is MMGCC. It’s obvious that we much work and spend harder because we know we’ve NEVER had this much rain before..have we?
