Trump – Lets Steal The Oil In Iraq

And Trump was even more specific on what he would do with the Iraq oil fields: seize them.

Trump: George, let me explain something to you. We go into Iraq. We have spent thus far, $1.5 trillion. We could have rebuilt half of the United States. $1.5 trillion. And we’re going to then leave. So, in the old days, you know when you had a war, to the victor belong the spoils. You go in. You win the war and you take it.
…
Stephanopoulos: It would take hundreds of thousands of troops to secure the oil fields.

Trump: Excuse me. No, it wouldn’t at all.
…
Stephanopoulos: So, we steal an oil field?

Trump: Excuse me. You’re not stealing. Excuse me. You’re not stealing anything. You’re taking– we’re reimbursing ourselves– at least, at a minimum, and I say more. We’re taking back $1.5 trillion to reimburse ourselves.

How inartful Donald is.
Let’s say the Iraqis wanted us to benefit from liberating them by selling us their oil at a discount.
Terrific.
But Donald is unstatesmanlike to the n’th degree.
Maybe it is because Trump’s “pit bull,” is DEMOCRAT Michael Cohen.
Trump’s chief political adviser, Michael Cohen, once volunteered for 1988 presidential candidate Michael Dukakis and worked for a Democratic member of Congress.

ABC News has been doing due diligence on Trump, unlike what they did on Obama.
There is a whole article on Trump’s ”pit bull,” Cohen at ABC.

As I recall that same logic was applied to the Oil Fields in Kuwait a few years back. The Response was Desert Shield and Desert Storm. I seriously doubt that seizure of an oil field would be viewed in a positive light by the few friends that We have in the Middle East but that interview is quite revealing. I’m quite amazed that Al Jazeera has not published the transcript as of yet.

His statements are just another reason why a Trump Candidacy should be highly discounted and why His supporters should be viewed as far from credible or rational. A Trump Candidacy will have the same predictable life expectancy as a snowball in hell.

It seems to me that Trump stole his playbook from Al Sharpton— come in loud and bold making ludicrous assertions that you repeat with nauseating frequency. No debate and only issues that resonate with the largely disatisfied, vocal element of your target group so you get them all reinforcing your rhetoric. If you get jerked up short by reality, just make a quick self serving statement and totally ignore the subject in the future.

Speeches, press releases and wimpy interviews are one thing but I predict that as the race continues and debates start to be more common among the candidates, The Donald will dry up like an early morning dew and blow away. He will just look ridiculous in that venue.

Nonetheless, I would still like to see some display of O’Bs birth documents. As many times as I have seen it said that “Of course he was vetted”, I have yet to hear any individual say that he personnaly he did it. It would certainly shut up one obnoxious group or another at the very least.

@plainjane:
Did you listen to the video?

INTERVIEWER: So, would you run as VP on a Trump ticket?

WEST: I run to serve the American people.
And that’s it.
It’s not my decision.
That’s a decision for God, the constituency and my family AND WHOEVER the presidential nominee is.

Very diplomatic answer, if you ask me.
Not an endorsement at all.

Typical conservative tactic: Steal from other countries, steal from the poor, etc.
