WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump has fired FBI Director James Comey.
In a statement, Trump says Comey’s firing “will mark a new beginning” for the FBI. The White House says the search for a new FBI director will begin immediately.
Comey’s firing comes days after he testified on Capitol Hill about the FBI’s investigation into Russia’s election meddling and possible connections between Russia and Trump’s campaign.
Trump falsely pclaims that he isn’t subject to any investigation and the DOJ falsely claims it is because of the Hillary investigation.

Democrats cannot conceive that Comey would be fired because of how he conducted the Hillary investigation, as if he had protected Hillary. Of course, the Democrats cannot see what was really wrong with that scenario, since they view everything in partisan, ideological terms.
Though Trump opposed Hillary, even Democrats should be able to see that anyone that abuses the law the way Comey and all of the Obama DOJ did, that same abuse could be turned upon anyone. Like the IRS targeting scandal (which Comey’s FBI “investigated” without interviewing any of the targeted parties), abuse of power can become habit forming and be used against anyone. Taking gleeful pleasure when it is applied to your enemies can be short-lived and bite you right in the ass.
This is why Democrats have lost their right govern; they do not understand the importance of the Constitution.
