Wash Examiner:

President Trump plans to sign two executive orders Monday announcing his intention to renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement and pull the United States out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

CNBC reported Trump would start to make good on campaign promises during a 10:30 a.m. signing at the White House. Trump has been critical of American trade agreements that he believes send American jobs to other countries and harm the manufacturing sector.

NAFTA, negotiated and signed in the mid-1990s by President Clinton, was a target of both sides of the presidential election, as Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders often criticized the agreement. The reduced trade restrictions between the U.S., Canada and Mexico, but has also come under criticism because of language on investment that allows companies to relocate in Mexico and still sell goods in the U.S. and Canada.

The Trans-Pacific Partnership is a trade agreement with 11 other countries negotiated by the Obama administration. Trump will plan to negotiate individually with each country as a part of the same executive order, CNBC reported.

Time for america to throw away all those UN treaties their worthless and are unconstitutonal

Negotiation with individual countries is more effective for the US than a general agreement with 11 countries. It allows for more details that are specific to each agreement. It allows the US to negotiate from strength since we are the major consumer.
