Here’s a little secret for the simple minded out there: it’s possible to both hate Putin and know he’s a threat and to despise and not trust the corrupt, lying media that’s basically an arm of the Democrat party.
All those people hated Trump so much they let their derangement completely destroy any principles or decency they once had. And, deep down, they KNOW Trump lives rent-free in their heads and they just can’t quit him. And it drives them insane.
So they’ll twist into pretzels to hold onto and justify their unhinged hatred for a man who wouldn’t even be a thing anymore if they didn’t keep obsessing about him. They’ll sell out any position they once held and make fools of themselves. It’s quite a sight to behold.
And, on some level, they know that we know, we see it, and yet they lash out at us rather than spend a minute’s time being introspective as to how we got here.
Sykes, et. al. are, in part, responsible for it (and for how we got Trump in the first place but I digress).
It’s also possible to condemn Russia’s actions without wanting to get into another foreign war that’ll cost American lives. Afghanistan/Iraq have been going on for half my life, and children not even born on 9/11 can now go.
But Sykes, et. al. will beat the drums of sending *your* kids to war because they can’t admit their part in getting us into this mess.
Ultimately, if the media wanted us to trust them during war, they shouldn’t have spent the last several decades lying to us, attacking private citizens for CNN gifs, harassing MAGA grannies as Russian operatives, etc.
The lack of trust is ENTIRELY their fault.

Today, Biden will give his little speech and wander away from the podium without taking questions.
He’ll lecture us on paying more to be “patriotic” and condemn his critics as Russian operatives and the media will clap like trained seals and never dig deeper.

For the record, Schatz, Trump crushed Iran with sanctions, almost brought N. Korea into the community of nations (until the left tried to remove Trump from power, undercutting his leverage and authority), and brought China to the negotiating table on fair trade (until, again, the left undercut his leverage and authority). So, why don’t you shit and fall back in it?
The media itself has turned itself into a farce without credibility. If anything needs some accurate fact checking, it’s the propaganda MSM.
Trump overturned Obama’s nuclear agreement and shoved Iran into the arms of Russia. He accomplished absolutely NOTHING in connection with North Korea, which accelerated it’s nuclear and ICBM programs throughout his presidency. He left China on the ascendancy and pulled troops out of Afghanistan with no plan for the evacuation of equipment or those who had supported us. In the process, he ran up debt faster than any US president since WW2. He attempted to overturn an election, resulting in a violent siege of the Capitol, and left a seriously divided nation in his wake. And you want to bring him back, no matter what the cost.
There’s my take on the situation. Trying to undercut Biden’s efforts to deal with Putin is all part of that same picture.
Who can undercut a President, as the leader its his decision or are you admitting polls drive everything he does?

Actually, it was more of a suggestion than an afterthought. When you think about how many times in the world’s history one person has destroyed the lives of millions, it’s hard not to consider alternatives. If the Taliban was threatening Kabul as they were under idiot Biden (all their attacks began under idiot Biden), there would have been no withdrawal and the Taliban would have been whacked.
Sure, fixing the problems Obama left with a weak military and open border, money had to be spent. But Trump’s tax cuts boosted the economy and revenues to the point where that would have quickly been repaid. Then, COVID hit and idiot Biden’s business partners unleashed it on the world. The “science” said shut down the economy (a mistake) and financial aid had to be provided. However, the drunken lush Pelosi got hungry and wanted more and more aid packages loaded with pork.
