The Lie Of ‘Systemic Police Racism’ That Kills

By Dan Crenshaw

Four years ago, five Dallas Police officers lost their lives after they were targeted simply for wearing the uniform. Last September, two officers were shot in the face at point blank range for the same reason. One of them was a young mother. During the months of violent riots that one Democrat politician called the “summer of love,” more than 2,000 officers were injured. By July of last year, officer deaths had risen 28 percent compared to the previous year.

There have long been violent encounters between police officers and criminals. Just this week, two FBI agents were killed and three were injured after a standoff with a suspect in Florida, yet another reminder of the deadly encounters law enforcement agents experience every day.

However, what we witnessed this summer was something new, and far more sinister. This recent wave of violence is the result of a pervasive, disturbing, and ultimately false narrative: the institution of policing itself is corrupt and systemically racist.

This narrative is repeated both casually and often by leaders of Black Lives Matter and Democrat politicians alike. Joe Biden stated, “For too long, black Americans have lived with a knee on their neck,” in reference to police officers, Kamala Harris said that there is an “unacceptable incidence for generations of unarmed black men being killed” by police, and a spokesperson for President Biden’s State Department said that “the largest threat to U.S. national security are U.S. cops. Not ISIS, not Russian hackers, not anyone or anything else.”

Slogans such as “All Cops are Bastards” are chanted at “peaceful” demonstrations, and the claim that black men are being hunted and killed in the streets is promulgated, accepted without question as undeniable fact.

It is unclear whether the public figures pushing these extreme narratives know — or even care — that they are inflaming the rhetoric which ultimately leads to tragedies like that of Dallas, Los Angeles, and elsewhere. If challenged, they will often backtrack by discussing the underlying problems of poverty and crime in the black community, and the inhumanity of specific injustices such as the abhorrent killing of George Floyd. This is all, of course, true and worth addressing in a rational manner. No one would argue that police officers have always acted perfectly, that there aren’t bad apples, or that certain reforms should be pursued. Why reforms could not make it through Congress is another story.

But here’s the problem: if you’re telling people that police are trying to kill them, and that the entire institution of law enforcement is itself systemically racist and oppressive, it should come as no surprise that some people will act upon such an apparent threat. After all, wouldn’t you? If you truly believed it, then violently fighting back would appear to be your only recourse. This also explains the utterly bizarre instances this summer of white activists screaming in the faces of black police officers, telling them they were “part of the problem.” The Black Lives Matter movement has effectively subjugated the cause of black lives in order to achieve their primary goal of labeling all police as inherently evil.

Words matter. The word “systemic” actually means something, and should not be thrown around casually or carelessly. It means that racism is inherent to the system, thus implicating every officer that wears the badge. It is also used to conclude that any negative incident must be the result of racism, and any context, circumstances or facts that counter that narrative must be ignored.

This narrative creates an emotionally compelling but also unsolvable problem. The conversation rarely, if ever, moves in search of a solution.

Words matter. The word “systemic” actually means something….

If the Left has its way words won’t matter, only feelings.
We are seeing the unabridged dictionary capitulate to blm and antifa and pc every time new words are put out and old words are dropped.
Even math is being bastardized.

The damage of the nearly constant demonization of the police from lawmakers after the George Floyd death, as well as directives to pull back from issuing arrests, has led to a massive spike in crime in the country’s biggest, most liberal cities.

“Systemic police racism,” is merely another one of those language tricks the Left uses to slander rather than use argumentation in a debate.
So, instant win on their part, until the $#!+ hits the fan.
Thing is, like is taught in physics, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Defund the police = high crimes, more victims, less safety.

The best example of the absolutely vacuous nature of the left’s racist gambit is Minneapolis itself, where the criminal Floyd killed himself with a massive fentanyl overdose. This, BLM and their Democrat enablers told us, was ground zero for “systemic racism.” Yet, in Minneapolis, they had a Democrat police chief, Democrat mayor and Democrat city council. As if that wasn’t enough wokeness to protect blacks from the evil, racist police, Minnesota has a Democrat Governor, Democrat Attorney General, two Democrat Senators and 5 of 8 Democrat Representatives. Yet, racism there is “systemic”.

And who do they turn to for a “solution”? Guess. Here’s a hint: NONE of these people lost their jobs because of the terrible systemic racism problem that forces 6’6″ black men to get loaded up on meth and fentanyl, pass phony $20 bills and fight with police. Is there another system? The transit system? The sewer system? What is the RACIST system that is not controlled by Democrats?

If anyone is stupid enough to believe this rhetoric (and there are a LOT), they might be inclined to defend themselves against police when confronted, which may inevitably lead to more tragic encounters. So, not only are the racist Democrats inciting violence against police, they are also encouraging the idea that an encounter with police, especially for black people, has a good chance of ending up in the arbitrary and gleeful murder of the black person by a racist cop and would drive the detainee to fight back for their very life, which would inevitably lead to tragedy, more false accusations and more violence.

Why, it’s almost as if the left planned it this way.

America is one of the least racist, most welcoming, and least bigoted nations on Earth.

The UK and Australia don’t even come close to the level of diversity and racial groups that only America has encouraged, sustained, and unified under a banner of shared values and freedom.

Contrast that with racist China and their over-arching monoculture and ethnocentrism.

The pic above exemplifies the issue: unmarried, out of work white girls and their beta-cuck orbiters trying to get laid.

That’s all antifa and BLM is: weakness.

@Nathan Blue:

Well, it was. Democrats and BLM have turned it into a race-centrist nation were EVERYTHING is taken in relation to race and racism. As we have seen through practically every pronouncement by the idiot Biden’s administration, nothing gets decided without race being a factor, and this is intended (INTENDED) to reduce the influence of WHITE people. Additionally, when you declare “black lives matter” the left flies into an outrage at the suggestion that any other race or group might happen to have lives that matter.

Sorry to break the news… but that’s racist.

@Nathan Blue:

There are good reasons these “Shemales” are unmarried, they have a precolumbian mindset where child sacrifice on the altar of career is pounded into their psyche. After their blood sacrifice the gods of progressive mindset did not grant them success.
So enraged their facebook friends are posting happy family photos of T-ball and dance class children.
They are below Beta females. empty shells without purpose filled with rage, they cant land an alpha.

“Systemic racism” only means that racism is diffused through a system rather than being localized in any particular part of it. It doesn’t mean that it’s part of the official polices and protocols of an organization, or that a majority of people comprising the organization are racist. Racism is as close as the nearest racist. The problem when it is not effectively addressed in law enforcement is that the faults of a few adversely affect the public’s perception of all. Their individual behavior becomes associated with police authority and the uniform.

As if racial issues weren’t enough, there seem to be some psycho-sexual issues and insecurities in the mix around here.

@Greg:

We know of your insecurities Greggie we have always known.
Point out that these racial issues are in Democrat run and operated areas just ruffles your bustle. Pull up your skirts there brother lest the dust soil your unmentionables.

Yet, like I said, when Democrats control every aspect of the local and state government, if “systemic racism” exists, it is the Democrats that are racists. They ARE the system, they built the system, they run the system and they and ONLY they have the ability to change the system. So, either the Democrats are the problem or “systemic racism” is bullshit.

We would see much less racism if Democrats didn’t enjoy weaponizing it so much.

@Greg:

“Systemic racism” only means that racism is diffused through a system rather than being localized in any particular part of it.

Systematic Racism is just another in a long line of relative, mutably defined Leftwing buzzwords to use to vilify their enemies without facts and without a rational argument…usually the opposite.

Black suspects are at a lower risk of being shot than white suspects, because the cops are afraid of being labled “racist”.

Assuming a white guy is racist because he is white is…well….F*CKING RACIST.
