It’s finally sinking in…

Sheldon Alberts:

Two-thirds of likely voters say the weak economy is Washington’s fault, and more blame President Obama than anybody else, according to a new poll for The Hill.

It found that 66 percent believe paltry job growth and slow economic recovery is the result of bad policy. Thirty-four percent say Obama is the most to blame, followed by 23 percent who say Congress is the culprit. Twenty percent point the finger at Wall Street, and 18 percent cite former President George W. Bush.

The results highlight the reelection challenge Obama faces amid dissatisfaction with his first-term performance on the economy.

Dr. John’s initial statement, “It’s finally sinking in…”, represents the feeling false superiority in attitude fostered by the radical right—this article in the Hill tells me that there’s plenty of blame to go around (Republic and Democrat). The people aren’t stupid. It’s only when agencies step in—like the Supreme Court did in deciding the Bush/Gore election—that stupid decisions are made.

I am beginning to see the dawn of your hatred of all things Right.

That you still believe the 2000 election was decided by the USSC is very telling, regarding not only your character, but also your ability to separate fact from fiction.

I don’t know how he could have put those sentences together,
it really out of context.
bye

This poll shows that likely voters are divided on who’s to blame for the weak economy. It says nearly 2/3–66% say Obama is NOT the primary cause. See how that works and how irrelevant most polls really are.
Election will be extremely close. Expect Portman of Ohio to get the nod as Veep making Romney the favorite to win Ohio and the Presidency.

BTW Dr.J. re YOUR headline In what universe is 34% a majority?

@Liberal1 (objectivity): Are you really that stupid or just trying to prove it!!

Good grief. How many recounts were there? On what basis did SCOTUS rule? Do you even know what they ruled??

Liberal1[objectivity]
thank GOD, IT WAS BUSH, CAN YOU FORSEE the disaster
if GORE WOULD HAVE HAD THE TOP JOB?

Dr. J. You wanna change your title to plurality of voters blame BHO, or majority of voters don’t blame BHO. THANKS

rich, it’s a “most wanted” post, meaning it’s not drj’s own composition, but a link to an article by The Hill. He used their headline. You might want to direct your complaints to them instead, yes?

Mata The Hill can’t even properly explain their own poll. Beautiful.

@MataHarley:

Actually Rich is correct. The headline at The Hill:

The Hill Poll: Voters blame president most for slow economic recovery

For whatever reason, the headline here doesn’t match. Nor does it have the same meaning.

Edited to add: It appears that the folks over at The Hill changed the original headline to what it is now. The original headline wording is still in the URL for the story.

Yep.
