Joe Biden says that when cops are confronted with a violent criminal using deadly force against them, they should just go for winging shots or just shoot the guns out of the Bad Guys’ hands.

In the world inhabited by the non-mentally-demented, 2022 was a year in which law enforcement saw an increase in fatalities inflicted on them by criminals, thanks to the wave of chaos and murder unleashed on the country by the Democrat Party.Fraternal Order of Police National Vice President Joe Gamaldi sounded the alarm on a growing number of law enforcement fatalities in 2022 Sunday on “Fox News Live.”Firearms-related fatalities claimed the lives of 64 police officers in 2022, contributing to a roughly 21% increase from the average of 53 per year from 2010-2020, according to data from the National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund (NLEOMF).
“It’s absolutely horrible. Unfortunately, the war on cops in 2022 just continued to march on. We had 331 police officers shot. That’s a 13% increase since 2019. We had nearly 90 ambush attacks and 64 of those officers lost their lives,” Gamaldi said.
Firearms-related fatalities have claimed the lives of 64 officers in 2022.
“And that comes on the heels of 2021, which was the deadliest year for law enforcement and intentional homicides in over two decades. Now, you combine that with what we’re seeing nationwide, where we’ve had over 20,000 homicides for two years in a row. We haven’t seen that since the 1990s.”
Gamaldi told host Bill Melugin he believes there are five reasons why more police officers have been killed in the past year, saying a “culture of lawlessness” has gripped the country.
He argued more deaths were caused by “an open border, rogue DAs, activist judges, a revolving door criminal justice system, and generally a society that tells people you’re no longer accountable for your own actions.”

Idiot Biden is just stupid. He’s a moron. A dumbass. Recall, he told people trying to defend their homes against intruders should just fire a shotgun into the air (one poor soul thought this was good advice to follow and went to jail for it). No, confronted with a threat, you eliminate the threat.
A cop could shoot an armed criminal in the leg or arm and the armed criminal could still shoot back and wound or possibly kill the cop or some innocent bystander. No, sorry, once the criminal puts themselves in that situation, they have sacrificed their life. The cop’s priority is to eliminate the threat and right behind that priority is the priority to go home alive and uninjured. They aren’t Clint Eastwood, Mel Gibson or Jackie Chan. They are mortal human beings that don’t always, in a chaotic situation where everyone is moving, hit the target. So they unload the magazine and reload in case the threat still exists.
I was at a gun range once and an ex-cop was in the row next to me. He had a stack of magazines for a 1911 and kept shooting at the same target. The center of the target, about a two-inch diameter, was gone. That’s it. He was a sharp shot. But, I bet, in a stressful encounter with an armed assailant, he would be going for quality but quantity, because HIS life is on the line.
People like idiot Biden simply don’t care if cops get killed as long as the criminal gets a fair chance to “defend themselves”.
