The American Public Have a Crushing Opinion About Obama’s Handling of ISIS Threat

When Obama launched airstrikes on ISIS, the American people were waiting to see how effective his plan would be.

With the current results of Operation Inherent Resolve against the Islamic State, it turns out the majority of Americans do not approve of the way he is fighting the jihadists.

The New York Daily News reported on the staggering percentage of people who are not fans of the president’s counter-terrorism tactics:

Six in 10 now reject Obama’s handling of the ISIS crisis, according to a new Associated Press-GfK poll.

And support for the President’s approach has been slowly sinking since the U.S. formed a coalition in late 2014 to take on the head-chopping Islamic fanatics who have taken over large swaths of Iraq and Syria.

To make things more difficult for Obama’s reputation as Commander-in-Chief, another poll released by Qunnipiac University showed that more people blame withdrawing troops from Iraq for the Islamic State’s blood-filled rise to power than they do the Iraq War:

A year ago, President Obama told the American people in regard to ISIS that “we don’t have a strategy yet.” Based on the polling, it seems that many Americans do not agree with our current approach.
