In my view, Obama is making an entirely valid observation. There’s presently an effort afoot to roll back decades of social change on many fronts. People may agree or disagree with that effort, or have mixed views depending on what change is under discussion, but there’s no denying that the effort exists.

I haven’t heard a good reason yet from a liberal saying why they think it is a good idea to allow obama to have a civilian force that is equal to the military.
Obie spends his time weaving straw men and fishing for red herring. Pick any speech he gives and they are full of both. One of his latest concerns photo ID”s to vote. Which according to him is some sort of impenetrable wall for minorities and only minorities. With that kind of thinking I guess all we need to do is place a bunch of signs saying “Photo ID required past this point” facing south at the southern border with Mexico and our illegal immigration problem would be solved.

Yes, I live in Louisiana and there was a local election here last week, April 5. When I got to the poll, the person just in front of me was a young black guy. Well, I knew he was wasting his time since a photo ID is required, I was quite sure he hadn’t figured out how to get one, so obviously he wasn’t going to be voting. Wow, was I surprised when it came his turn, he whipped out a drivers license with an actual photo on it. So he did get to cast his vote. Boy am I proud of the blacks in Louisiana, they have learned what most minorities in the country haven’t been able to figure out, how to get a photo ID.
I hope this little satire doesn’t offend anyone. I think it is a shame that the president of the US places so much emphasis on the inability of minorities.

If obama has to show his driver’s license to vote, he won’t be able to vote, because Illinois didn’t allow illegals to have a driver’s license until recently. The next time he is in Illinois he can get one.
@John Dickey: I can’t figure it out. Minorities can’t figure out how to get a photo ID, but illegals can figure out how to get a drivers license in Illinois even though proof of who you are is required. Obama can’t prove who he is, so I’m not sure if he can get a drivers license. They may grant some illegals exemptions.

He clearly can prove he’s ineligible for a SS card, that’s why he carries one issued to someone else.

Nobody, not even obama, has ever denied that he is STILL USING someone else’s SS number. This means that the democratic voters know that he doesn’t have his own number, so he has to be an illegal, but they still don’t care. This tells me that as long as they keep getting THEIR FREE STUFF, they don’t care who is president.
@Smorgasbord: I agree. And to make all that even worse, there are Repubs that are for Cruz and Rubio, though they are as ineligible as Obama is.

That is why I say we now have a one party system with two branches. I believer that both have been infiltrated with the intention to turn the USA into a non-free county. Just look at what our politicians are voting for and against. What are either houses doing that actually HELPS the USA? There are a few patriot politicians left in congress, but not very many. It seems that EVERY BILL that the republicans introduce add to the debt, allow illegals more stuff, give out more free stuff, increase the size of government, but don’t do anything that actually helps the country.
