Obama has credited Mitt Romney’s policies as governor of Massachusetts for being the inspiration for Obamacare. Now Romney’s stance on environmental issues is winning applause from Al Gore.
Liberal Al Gore took to his blog Wednesday to applaud the former Massachusetts governor for his stance on climate change.
“Good for Mitt Romney,” Gore, the former Democratic vice president, wrote about the Republican seeking the White House in 2012.
He continued: “While other Republicans are running from the truth, he is sticking to his guns in the face of the anti-science wing of the Republican Party.”
Not exactly the kind of endorsement Romney needs.
Romney could actually win the election.
Well Greg,
If he does it’ll be without my vote. The last thing we need is Jimmy Carter III.
It is worrisome for actual conservatives that a liberal Republican like Romney is getting any sort of kudos from the left. It solidifies even more the thought that Romney would not be a big change from what Obama is.
