Then he got sued for defamation for calling her a liar for making the accusation.
They are laughing at the grounds for appeal. We don’t even have a justice system anymore.

As DC Draino pointed out earlier today – E. Jean Carroll wasn’t only funded by a Democrat activist billionaire to smear Trump in court, but she also helped New York officials *change state laws* to specifically allow her to attack Trump right before the 2024 election. And Trump-hater George Conway helped push her to file the outrageous claims against President Trump.
E. Jean Carroll went on CNN with her attorney Roberta Kaplan went on with CNN to brag about how Carroll was only able to file the lawsuit after New York Democrats changed the laws and extended the statute of limitations for sexual assault in the state. This allowed E. Jean Carroll to sue Trump for a rape she said took place in a department store sometime in the 1990s during a shopping spree with the younger Donald Trump. She didn’t even have to give a date or a year to get the case to court in New York City.
Governor Hochul signed the act into law in May 2022 so that E. Jean Carroll could file her lawsuit against President Trump.
The awarding of nearly $90 million to the second-rate advice columnist E. Jean Carroll will doubtless be remembered for generations as the greatest miscarriage of justice in contemporary American history. Jean Carroll’s case was not just ludicrous on the face of it, but between the judge, the “experts” who testified, and the mechanisms by which the case even came to be, it’s impossible for any ordinary person in the West to see this as anything more than the continuation of a series of hoaxes perpetrated on former President Donald J. Trump with the desire to keep him from re-entering the Oval Office in January 2025.
Before this trial started U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan granted Ms. Carroll’s request to block the defense from arguing that the jury reached its conclusion because it did not believe her rape claim. With this verdict, this trail only focus was about $$$.
Let me make a mathematical point about the new E. Jean Carroll verdict — actually a mathematical point combined with a point about the law of preclusion.
The original verdict was about $5 million, which should be res judicata between Trump and Carroll for damage to her reputation.
But the new verdict is over $83 million.
This makes no mathematical sense and cannot be squared with the law of preclusion. The only way that the damages for renewed defamation could exceed the original $5 million is by virtue of a new punitive damages component which itself cannot be unmoored to baseline compensatory damages. A reputation once injured and compensated cannot be recompensed a second time at more than an order of magnitude higher than the original recompense.
But the damages here do not meet those basic conditions. Ergo, it is illogical. Ergo, it is illegal. Ergo, it is a travesty of justice.
How is it unAmerican to try and understand why a jury makes a politically-motivated (instead of evidence-based) decision? I think nothing could be MORE American than to expose the abuse of our judicial system.
Well, I’ll try to squeeze an answer out of you again. Do you think someone that accuses a person of rape but doesn’t know when it happened, doesn’t have any evidence it happened, has no witnesses that it happened and shows to be a predatory, unhinged attention-whore deserves $83 million?
I disagree with decisions that are based on emotion, not evidence. Catering to that is the abuse of the judicial system. I see you hold none of that in any respect at all.
