A U.S. security institute that advises Washington policy makers says Iran could produce enough weapons-grade uranium for a nuclear bomb in as little as two months from now, but would need additional time to make the device itself.
In a report issued Monday, the Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS) said Iran has the capacity to produce 25 kilograms of highly enriched uranium needed for the core of a nuclear warhead in two to four months. Iran has thousands of centrifuges enriching uranium at its main plant in Natanz and hundreds of other centrifuges operating at its Fordo facility, located under a mountain to shield it from air attacks.
The United States and Israel have refused to rule out military action to stop Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Tehran says its nuclear program is designed only for peaceful uses.
The ISIS report did not say whether Iran has decided to convert its enriched uranium into a nuclear bomb. It said that if Iran were to attempt such a step, it would need more time to finish the job, “despite work it may have done in the past.”
ISIS said Iran would need “many additional months to manufacture a nuclear device suitable for underground testing, and even longer to make a reliable warhead for a ballistic missile.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said last month that Iran could reach the stage of producing weapons-grade uranium by the middle of next year, at current enrichment rates.

Beside, why should Israel be the only nuclear power in the Middle-east? How would you like it if Mexico had thousands of nuclear weapons and was an antagonistic nation—blustering to attack us at any moment? Iran probably feels like it’s important to properly defend its sovereignty—even if the threat of becoming involved in a nuclear war exits. But I doubt if they are stupid enough to start one—it would sign their own death warrant.

-One, I don’t think it would matter if Israel has nuclear weapons or not. Iran, and any other ME country over there would still love to have them. If for nothing else, to obliterate Israel.
-Two, comparing Israel to a Mexico “blustering to attack us at any moment” is not even close to comparing two equivalent situations. Israel couldn’t care less what Iran does that does not affect them. Iran having nuclear weapons, and a clear intent on using them on Israel once they do have them, is the reason Israel is so intent on doing anything they can to prevent Iran from getting nukes.
-Three; Stupid enough to use them? Iran has insisted that they will do so, once they have them. And it seems that no one is really listening to Israel’s repeated calls for help in preventing that situation from happening.
That whole paragraph is what we would expect from someone who worships at Obama’s feet. See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. Especially when it comes to a recognized enemy of Israel. If we get four more years of Obama, expect Israel to either use it’s weapons pre-emptively at some point, or be blown off the map, or both.
