Over the weekend, protesters in Iran raged against Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei by publicly burning his image while other protesters chanted “Shah of Iran, return to Iran!”
According to Haaretz, protests ranged across at least a dozen cities after President Hassan Rouhani raised government-set gasoline prices by 50%. NetBlocks, which monitors worldwide internet access, reported on Saturday that it appeared the government had shut down the internet, tweeting: “Confirmed:#Iran is now in the midst of a near-total national internet shutdown; realtime network data show connectivity at 7% of ordinary levels after twelve hours of progressive network disconnections as public protests continue #IranProtests.”

On Saturday, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo stated that the U.S. backed the protesters, tweeting:
Trump favors the Iranian people and peace, Obama favored his flawed nuclear deal and his “legacy”.
@Deplorable Me:
the 44th pres is a radicalized, gay, muslin terrorist, he never supported a democratic process. so why doesn’t sneaky schiff call this POS on impeachment hearings??
So, we drove Iran into Russia’s arms, gave Syria over to the Russia-dependent Assad dictatorship, abandoned the Kurds, twiddle our thumbs as Russia begins supplying armaments to Iraq, and will be left relying on our reliable good buddy Saudi Arabia to keep Russia from having a choke hold on Persian Gulf oil supplies. Meanwhile, Russia wages war in eastern Ukraine, which is a choke point for Europe’s natural gas supply lines. That’s a lot of progress for Putin in only three years.
Is the picture getting any clearer yet? Russia figures into everything.
December 6, 2019 – Rudy’s New Ukraine Jaunt Is Freaking Out Trump’s Lieutenants—and He Doesn’t Care
As John Bolton observed before resigning/being fired, Rudy is the hand grenade. When he finally goes off, the damage will already have been done.
@Greg: Guess what we can supply EU with NG.
The policies of the past suck, where have they made it better more prosperous? China Brother thats where CHINA. Agenda 2030s model for the world. Its a regular Beatles song “Imagine”.
Imagine no possessions.
Keep squealing like a pig about Russia
Russia’s economy is actually quite small. Its gross domestic product (GDP) in 2015 was half the size of California’s.
It takes the ninth spot in the world, with 142 million people.
Peddle your paranoid delusions on MSLSDs chat.
@Greg:
Well… OBAMA did.
That ain’t all he’s freaking out:
Giuliani discovers that much of the $5.3 billion in aid sent by Obama to Ukraine went to corruption.
Looks like Yovanovich wasn’t as honorable and capable as first thought. It also looks like Trump was doing exactly the right thing to delve further into Ukraine before he provided corrupt Democrats more stolen money.
@kitt:
Unfortunately, the size of the economy does not correlate with the seriousness of the threat. That has to do with whether or not a nation is playing by recognized international rules that are conducive to stability and peace. Consider North Korea. Their economy is a disaster, but they now may have a submarine capable of launching missiles with nuclear warheads, and long-range land-based ICBMs.
@Deplorable Me, #5:
Horse hockey Obama slapped very serious economic sanctions on Russia targeting their energy sector in response to their territorial aggression against Ukraine—which Donald Trump promptly and inexplicably removed, contrary to the advise of the State Department.
Obama also ordered an investigation into Russian interference with the 2016 election. Trump has denied the conclusions of the FBI and our own intelligence community—even after investigations by both the House and Senate intelligence committees came up with essentially the same results—and immediately began working up another scam for 2020 that revolved around a Ukrainian conspiracy theory that our own people tell us was concocted by Russian intelligence.
These are facts, not false news.
@Greg: Like I said brother peddle it to fellow MSNBC watchers. NATO members willing to have contracts with them for NG says how much they fear him, they should catch up with their protection money. Justin Trudeau lil costumed, Ken Doll, bitch needs to watch his mouth.
Hillary cat ladies still attacking Tulsi, your Dems are such a mess.
@Greg: No, Obama’s stupidity in Syria DIRECTLY brought Russia in. Iran sought Russian cooperation; no one “drove” them together. Odd how supposedly devout Muslims seek out the godless Russians and those who tried to wipe them out in Afghanistan, but that’s about how much Islamists can be trusted.
Trump has punished Russia while Obama proved “flexible”. THAT is the fact.
“Investigate” it? Hell, he INVITED it. HE let it happen, blocking efforts to prevent Russian meddling. All his “investigation” entailed was to try to link Trump to it. He failed… as he did with everything else.
@Deplorable Me, #9:
Why did Trump remove sanctions against Oleg V. Deripaska?
International sanctions during the Ukrainian crisis
@Greg: Why did Democrats try to get him to provided political dirt on Trump? You had no problem when Democrats courted him, why would you worry about sanctions on him? Why did Kerry allow back into the country and why was she at a Senate hearing with Democrats? Why did Hillary’s attorney’s brief and debrief her before and after the Trump Tower meeting?
