The other day I had a conversation with an older person who is a diehard, bright blue super-Democrat. She said she didn’t believe that the left was pushing an outright racist agenda with its “critical race theory” teaching, and didn’t even believe that any “critical race theory” was being pushed in federal agencies at all.
“I watch the news and they didn’t mention anything about it,” she said.
I wanted to say, but did not: “You do not watch the news. You watch CNN.”
I didn’t say that, not because I’m a nice guy, but because I’d know she’d start sputtering out Stelteresque claims that any suggestion that CNN was partisan was a “conspiracy theory” and contrary to The Science.
Look how the left — represented here by this former CNN “journalist” —Â greets the news of a major peace accord.
And look at the lefties all shrieking that this is all a con job.

Not to bring up Saddam Hussain (sp?) gratuitously but when he was alive, just over 10 years ago, it was a common practice for Middle Eastern potentates, like him, to pay “palestinian” terrorist families $25,000 ( a fortune in Gaza!) if their relative died killing a Jew.
Saddam did this repeatedly.
Now we have a whole new generation of no-so-oil-rich Muslim leaders.
They have been looking for a good reason to throw Gaza’s leadership and terrorist orgs under the bus.
This new Middle East Abraham Accord is it!
Without the USA killing Saddam and the USA also becoming an energy exporter thru fracking this could never have happened.
And Biden wants to end fracking on federal land as well as appease Iran, Gaza’s best friend in the ME.
Not only have there been no significant peace initiatives in 26 years until this, but Trump just EQUALED the past two accomplishments in on stroke. Of course, perhaps some credit is due Obama; had he not propped up Iran and funded their international terrorism, perhaps these Arab countries would not see it necessary to take wise steps for their own security.
