It’s hard not to relish in the schadenfreude of Nancy Pelosi being caught on security camera, with wet hair, bare feet and no mask, indulging in an illicit private hair-salon experience in San Francisco.
She violated coronavirus health rules by the city, which has ordered salons shut since March. The day after her Monday visit, they were allowed to open, for outdoor services only, but no blowouts, and masks are mandatory. So, Speaker Pelosi violated at least three rules.
But such is her sense of entitlement that she refuses to apologize, and on Wednesday she blamed the hard-pressed workers who serviced her tresses, claiming they told her the appointment she requested was kosher.
What happened to “No one is above the law?”
After months of hectoring the president for not wearing a mask often enough and not listening to “The Science,” the hypocrisy was inescapable.
Pelosi’s hair privilege is emblematic of the Democrats’ entire campaign to shoehorn Joe Biden into the White House.
It’s exactly the kind of hypocrisy from the Washington establishment that got Donald Trump elected. Rules for thee, but not for me.
So when the president announced he was going to visit Kenosha, Wis., the latest city to fall victim to BLM-Antifa riots, there was an outcry from the Democratic constellation with vested interests in evading responsibility for the law-and-order crisis in this country.
Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers wrote Trump a rejection letter, saying his visit to Kenosha would “hinder our healing.” Mayor John Antaramian told the president: “The timing is wrong.” Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes said Trump’s visit would be “a barrel of gasoline rolling in.”
Trump went anyway, and it was a big success. He stood in the ruins of Scott Carpenter’s B&L Office Furniture and sympathized with business owners whose stores were destroyed during last week’s riots over the police shooting of Jacob Blake.
Carpenter, who says he is apolitical, was grateful.
“It let us know as small-business leaders that we matter,” he told the local CBS affiliate. “Because he is a businessman and he’s had businesses and to see your business in ruins, I believe his heart was in it for the right reason. You know he felt us, he felt our pain.”
John Rode III, third-generation former owner of the 109-year-old Rode’s Camera Shop, was emotional as he met the president near the ruins of the store.
Several hundred enthusiastic supporters with flags and signs lined the street as Trump’s motorcade drove by, calling out, “Thank you.”“We’re so thankful that we got the federal troops in to help because once they got here, things did calm down quite a bit,” Rode said.
You could not have scripted a more perfect campaign moment, in a swing state that could prove decisive on Nov. 3.
Of course, local Democrats flew into a panic. Where’s Joe? Still in the basement.
It’s hard to describe the Biden campaign without being rude. But it is a joke.
While Trump flies around the country holding outdoor hangar rallies and meeting real voters, Biden’s campaign last week said he wouldn’t start traveling until Labor Day.
Tightening polls must have forced his hand.
His foray into Pennsylvania Monday was arranged at the last minute because someone made the mistake of telling The New York Times he would be traveling Monday, to somewhere.
Landing in Pittsburgh after only his second plane trip since March, Biden drove straight past a desultory crowd of about 30 into a former steelworks to deliver a speech by teleprompter.
The imagery of a cage fence behind him was unfortunate, as was a Reuters photo, shot from above, showing him isolated in the cavernous space with social-distancing circles laid out on the floor so six masked reporters and one videographer could stay 15 to 20 feet away.
His speechwriters made a grievous error when he used what Trump later accurately described as “Mafia talking points. The mob will leave you alone if you give them what they want.”
When blaming the president for “stroking” the riots in Democratic cities, Biden said, “Does anyone believe there’ll be less violence in America if Donald Trump is re-elected?”
In other words, vote for me or you ain’t safe.
He didn’t take a single question.
The trip was a disaster.
But after Trump’s Kenosha triumph, Biden was forced out of the basement again Wednesday and drove down the road in Delaware to deliver a short speech demanding schools reopen.
This time, at least, he took questions from reporters.
But in one of his answers came another unforced error, revealing an extraordinary callousness about the murder of Trump supporter Aaron Danielson, allegedly by self-described Antifa militant Michael Reinoehl in Portland.
This was how he described it: “I think what happened in Portland, where a — one of the Trump guys riding along in vans, inciting responses, shooting rubber bullets, I guess, or paintballs, apparently there was someone shot by someone in the crowd, with a bullet. Killed. I think that person should meet the legal requirements, whatever that calls for, be investigated, and it should follow through on what needs to be done.”
Murder always is investigated. But Biden implied that Danielson provoked his own murder.
However, when asked about the Kenosha shooting, he said the police officer who shot Blake, who reportedly had a knife in his car, “needs to be charged.”
It is this tactic of Biden and his party to rush to judgment against police that has whipped up so much rage. Instead of calling for calm and waiting for facts, they lie to stoke grievance and incite the mob to pander to the black vote.
Nobody who cares about people would do such a wicked thing. Only an entrenched Washington elite contemptuous of ordinary Americans.
Oh, Biden is now heading to Kenosha Thursday. Nothing wrong with the timing.

From Trayvon Martin to Jacob Blake, when it will serve the liberal agenda of using violence to further their agenda they rush to judgement but notice that after Danielson was killed, the mayor of Portland asked those interested in justice to not jump to conclusions and come to Portland for revenge. No… that is a leftist realm.

Now she blames those powerless partners in her crime for kowtowing to her whim.
So, the whole liberal city has turned on her.
