Pelosi has been in the game so long the ‘spin’ just ‘flows’ from her lips….and of course, with democrats in office ‘let’s not jump to conclusions’ about not doing anything about a problem you have known about for (6) SIX years…obiviously no oversight of department or employees…Our War Hero’s – Vets dead – in my mind, (more) at the hands of our own Government… does this amount to ‘scandal’ …

A HUGE – YES!

Pelosi and her ilk need to go…

@FAITH7: You think she would be happy to be on the VA plan?

“House Speaker Nancy Pelosi attacked the Bush administration during an appearance in Denver Saturday.

Pelosi said the scandal over conditions for veterans at Walter Reed Army Medical Center is part of “a pattern of neglect” in the Bush administration.”

Got that? No one died from lack of treatment at Walter Reed, yet to Ms. Piglosi, it was a major scandal that required Congressional investigations and showed the “neglect” of the Bush Administration.

Never mind that when the Walter Reed story broke in the Washington Post mid February, 2007, by March 1, less than two weeks later, heads had rolled and the work that was required at Walter Reed had already been started. The “scandal” Piglosi talked about involved ONE building at Walter Reed, Building 18, not the entire VA system.

But now, according to the dumbest woman (outside of Sheila Jackson-Lee) to ever occupy a seat in the U.S. Congress, the deaths of veterans may not reach the level of “scandal”.

The lives of those who serve our country mean little or nothing to the left. That is why the “So what does it matter now!” comments on the Benghazi murders. You are right that there may be different comments if the House and Senate were required to use the VA health care system.

@Randy:

The more vets who die, the better it will be for Democrats in the November elections.
