Twitchy:
Welp, looks like Jay Carney’s new beard has failed to confer either maturity or wisdom upon him. When asked today about Obamacare enrollment numbers, Carney launched right into worm mode:
Carney: “CMS plans to have demographic data ASAP;” cites several states with “a good mix” of enrollees—
Jared Rizzi (@JaredRizzi) January 06, 2014“ASAP.” Right.
Carney when asked how many 18-35 year olds are signing up for Obamacare: “Demographic data is not available”—
Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) January 06, 2014Jay Carney reiterates CMS claim that demographic data isn’t available for Obamacare signups.—
Philip Klein (@philipaklein) January 06, 20143 months into enrollment, Carney says WH/CMS doesn’t have reliable demographic data on enrollees.—
Zeke Miller (@ZekeJMiller) January 06, 2014Carney still doesn’t have data on Obamcare enrollment. He says they have always put forth data quickly , good or bad, the last few months.—
Laura McGinnis (@Txsleuth) January 06, 2014Jay Carney says they’ve done a great job of releasing good and bad Obamacare data over the past few months as they have it. Lie of the year?—
Philip Klein (@philipaklein) January 06, 20142014′s only just begun, but that’s certainly a good candidate.
Carney says aggregate # of enrollees doesn’t matter as much of demographic mix. Too bad they won’t release demographic numbers.—
Philip Klein (@philipaklein) January 06, 2014There’s more:
Jonathan Karl: “Why did Obama sign up for a bronze plan that he won’t use?” Carney: “Because he said he would”—
Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) January 06, 2014Jay Carney on estimate of 7mln Obamacare enrollees: “We’re not backing away from a number that we didn’t put out.”—
Philip Klein (@philipaklein) January 06, 2014Uh, yes you are, Jay.
WOW, Carney now saying the 7 million Obamacare enrollees goal wasn’t “the White House goal”—
Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) January 06, 2014Oh really?
FLASHBACK: Kathleen Sebelius says goal of administration is to sign up 7 million ppl for Obamacare by March 1 ow.ly/sjGC5—
Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) January 06, 2014It’s true that CBO originated the 7 million enrollment projection. However, administration embraced it.—

Obamacare horror stories discredited;

@This one:
Right…you just can’t help yourself with the leftwing hack propagandist links, can you? Quoting Mahar on healthcare issues is every bit as credible as quoting Emmanuel or Obama….LOL
@This one:
So I was wondering who healthinsurance.org was. The website doesn’t give the names of any officers of the site. But a quick search for the author of the article you posted, Maggie Mahar, was quite interesting.
Seems she is a senior fellow in health for The Century Foundation, a far FAR left wing think tank that not only supports single payer (re: government) health care but has strong ties to John Podesta’s Center for American Progress.

If it wasn’t for left wing websites, this one, you would not need a computer.
@Pete:
I believe Mahar is a hack that also has written for the Huffington Post. No surprise.
@This one: Now, let’s get this straight; the White House cannot know how many are successfully signing up, but they KNOW Obamacare is a success?
How does Jay keep his head from exploding?
Kentucky has 80% of their sign-ups getting free coverage. 75% are getting medicaid.
New York admits 46% of their sign-ups are getting free health coverage,.
Maryland has a whopping 96% signed up for Medicaid.
Ohio has 69% of its sign-ups on Medicaid.
ObamaCare admits to 2.1 million sign-ups total.
Nearly 1.5 million of them have enrolled in Medicaid.
So, there are a few figures out there.
I can understand why Obama wants to ”pivot” to anything else.
Democrat political activist success stories are popping up all over the place.
