Pandemic Panic 2.0: Are They Setting the Stage for Another Election Year?

I’ve admitted that I was wrong to actually take the “experts” at face value when COVID-19 first hit. I didn’t have the information and so, in a lot of ways, I was willing to take the initial doomsaying at face value.

But I also recognized there was a lot of BS being spewed, such as claiming an airborne virus couldn’t be defeated by an N95 mask. That was even more obvious when they changed their tune and now a face panty could beat it.

That was only the mildest of the evils perpetrated during COVID, including the 2020 election fiasco.

And the thing is, they’re talking about doing it again.

From The Hill:

As summer 2024 draws to a close, the U.S. finds itself once again grappling with a surge in COVID-19 infections.

This wave has taken many people by surprise, particularly as the country has largely consigned the pandemic to the past. While public life has pretty much returned to pre-pandemic norms — something almost none of us would have believed in the summer of 2020 — the virus itself has not.

Mutations of the virus continue to occur, and new variants are emerging, posing ongoing challenges to public health and safety. As we look ahead to the remainder of 2024 and into early 2025, we need to take stock of where we are, understand the factors driving this resurgence and better anticipate how the pandemic might evolve.

The recent surge in COVID-19 cases has disrupted summer travel plans, overwhelmed healthcare facilities in certain areas, and left many Americans dealing with the familiar symptoms of fever, cough and fatigue. The summer months, typically associated with lower respiratory virus activity, have instead seen a significant uptick in COVID-19 infections. Several factors contribute to this unexpected surge.

One factor is the high transmissibility of newer variants. The virus has continued to mutate, with certain variants displaying enhanced ability to spread, even among populations with high vaccination rates. While vaccines remain effective at preventing severe disease and death, breakthrough infections are becoming more common, especially as immunity from earlier vaccinations wanes.

Second, the widespread relaxation of public health measures has created an environment conducive to transmission. Mask mandates, social distancing guidelines and restrictions on large gatherings have all but disappeared. This return to normalcy, while massively psychologically and economically beneficial, has provided the virus with ample opportunities to spread.

Now, let’s understand that while there has been an uptick in COVID-19 infections—the homeschool co-op we’re part of had to cancel classes a couple of weeks ago because of it, as a matter of fact—there’s nothing particularly new about this.

In fact, according to the CDC, the uptick is essentially nothing compared to where rates and deaths were in December 2024.

If we didn’t start doing lockdowns and other “public health measures,” then, why would should we do it now?

Oh, wait, there’s an election this year.

There’s an election and someone may want to scare people into staying home and voting absentee, which is a lot easier to manipulate illegally. That wouldn’t actually happen, though, right?

Here’s the thing, though. We know the social distancing thing was entirely made up. The same with the performative theater of wearing cloth masks that couldn’t stop a mosquito from being breathed in. None of those things actually reduce infections in the least.

What’s more, the reality of much of this was kept from the public under the guise of protecting them from “misinformation,” only to find out that it was completely untrue.

And yet, here’s The Hill, which has got to be aware of all of this, and they’re pushing the narrative that we should go back to all of this because there’s been a slight uptick in COVID-19 infections without literally any mention that this uptick is almost statistically meaningless, particularly when compared to previous outbreaks.

The thing is, they’re going to do this over and over. I suspect that every uptick every four years will somehow be a problem and we’ll need to rally the troops and stay home and do everything remotely right up until a Democrat wins.

Well, they can kiss my fat white butt.

I’m not playing with them anymore. I’m not interested in playing their game or accepting what they say with any degree of good faith. I was willing to play that game once, but trust hasn’t been broken, it’s been shattered.

I will do what I want to do and I don’t care how much they try to lock us down again. I will encourage others to keep doing what they want to do regardless of it.

And I will continue to argue that every state needs to make absentee balloting far more secure than the travesty it has been; all because these bastards aren’t deserving of any benefit of the doubt or good faith.

At some point, though, I’m going to go even further. If they keep trying to trot this crap out every time they need a crisis, I’m going to eventually say to just burn it all down.

How many dems left the DNC in Chicago then tested + for covid?
We don’t know.
But the headlines made it appear to be a lot of them.
Not one article gives a number of people infected.
Anyway, it’s just a form of flu, so.
Could be all hype.

One of the six desperate “black swan” events is another lock-down, tho.
Maybe the medical “experts” will run up against more resistance this time, tho.
