For those who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001, the pain will never go away. And when a politician like Ilhan Omar casually dismisses that pain, she should expect that those words and actions will follow her forever.
Remember how Omar flippantly described the 9/11 attacks as “some people did something“? Nicholas Haros, Jr., remembers.
It was only up for a moment on Fox, but this man reading names of people killed on 9/11 is wearing a shirt with Ilhan Omar’s description of the day pic.twitter.com/uaEIideftX

And not only did he wear that T-shirt, he had some choice words for the congresswoman as well.
There is a reason that we take pause on this day, read the names of the dead, and mourn. It is because people like Ilhan Omar can be called out for their shockingly heartless words and deeds. It is because people like Ilhan Omar can be called to account for their flippant cruelty in dismissing the lives of nearly 3,000 people as “some people did something.” Omar is a politician; she knows how to say all the right things on Twitter when she has to. The problem is that we have heard so much vile ugliness out of her mouth that even when she says the right thing, it feels like insincere lip service.
But don’t worry, the New York Times is trying to give Representative Omar a solid assist today. First, they were called out for making it sound like airplanes have minds of their own.

And it wasn’t just the tweet. The NYT had to rewrite the lede of the story as well, because that exact same wording was found in the story itself. Wow. It’s almost like the NYT isn’t pointing out who attacked us on 9/11 because they feel it isn’t politically correct to do so. This sounds oddly familiar… as in, the exact same way that they are ignoring anti-Semitic attacks on New York Jews because the attackers aren’t “politically correct.”
And then the NYT published an editorial today. While this may be a worthwhile editorial, did they have to publish it today?
It is pretty incredible that on the 18th anniversary of 9/11, the NYT online op-ed page has precisely one editorial on that historic marker — and it’s about the effects of Islamophobia on American Muslims post-9/11. pic.twitter.com/dpBAZO3eJG

There were horrible moments after 9/11 where innocent people were attacked or murdered over mistaken identity. But that, and this editorial, are stories for tomorrow. Not today.
Today is about the nearly 3,000 people who got up in the morning and went to work, or boarded a plane, or responded to an emergency. They never came home from work. The planes never reached their intended destinations. Those heroes who ran into burning buildings to save others did not make it back out.
The left is about taking the side of the enemies of this country. While it would be impolite to revel in the deaths of the 3,000 Americans killed (though that doesn’t stop everyone) the left still takes every opportunity to protect the intent of the enemies of this nation and obscure their motives. Don’t expect me to explain why; I can’t. One would have to be able to think like an America-hating liberal to explain it.
It wouldn’t be surprising if Haros is called out by the dems and their MSM comrades as being “Islamophobic”, “Xeonophobic”, a racist, and a NAZI in an effort to stir up their Antifa minions so they can start going after him and his family.
Just as stupid as Bill Maher who called the Hijackers Couragous while calling America Cowards he lost his putrid show Politcly Incorrect shortly afterwards
