The man charged with the rape of a 10-year-old girl in Ohio is a Guatemalan illegal immigrant, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) source told Fox News Digital on Wednesday.

The Columbus Dispatch first reported that Gerson Fuentes was arrested after police said he confessed to raping a child on multiple occasions. He has been charged with rape, and the outlet reported that he was possibly in the country illegally.

The source told Fox that ICE has placed a detainer on Fuentes, which is a request he eventually be handed over to the agency for removal proceedings.

The story of the alleged rape was initially published in the Indianapolis Star in the context of the victim reportedly having to cross state lines to Indiana to get an abortion due to the state’s laws.

The story was eventually echoed by President Biden in a speech last week in announcing measures to protect abortion access in the wake of the recent Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v Wade.

“On Monday three days after the Supreme Court issued its groundbreaking decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, Dr. Caitlin Bernard, an Indianapolis obstetrician-gynecologist, took a call from a colleague, a child abuse doctor in Ohio,” the Indy Star piece began. “Hours after the Supreme Court action, the Buckeye state had outlawed any abortion after six weeks. Now this doctor had a 10-year-old patient in the office who was six weeks and three days pregnant.”

But the story was questioned by some critics, given its single source and scant detail. It drew scrutiny as well from the state attorney general, who noted that exceptions to Ohio law would have allowed the girl to obtain an abortion in the state.

I anticipated the instantaneous segue from “It didn’t really happen!” to “An illegal alien did it!”

So, the conservative SCOTUS now allows republican state legislatures to mandate that 10-year-old citizens raped by illegal aliens give birth to the illegal alien’s child…

If it even happened then the leftists took it a step further by orchestrating the narrative that the poor little girl had to go to another state to kill the baby because the mean republicans took away the right to kill a baby in all 50 states

While we are at it, opinions in both Roe and EPA v WV give us insight into other unconstitutional aspects in the government. Two in particular, the Department of education and the Department of energy are not in the constitution and thus should be vaporized

Well… wrong. As usual. She could have gotten an abortion in Ohio all along. Just a product of Democrat lies.

In Ohio, the following restrictions on abortion were in effect as of June 28, 2022:

  • A patient must receive state-directed counseling that includes information designed to discourage the patient from having an abortion, and then wait 24 hours before the procedure is provided. Counseling must be provided in person and must take place before the waiting period begins, thereby necessitating two trips to the facility.
  • Health plans offered in the state’s health exchange under the Affordable Care Act can only cover abortion in cases of life endangerment, or in cases of rape or incest.
  • Abortion is covered in insurance policies for public employees only in cases of life endangerment, rape or incest.
  • Medication abortion must be provided using the FDA protocol.
  • The parent of a minor must consent before an abortion is provided.
  • Public funding is available for abortion only in cases of life endangerment, rape or incest.
  • Most patients will undergo an ultrasound before obtaining an abortion, since the provider must test for a fetal heartbeat. The patient will be offered the option to view the image.
  • Abortion is banned at six weeks of pregnancy, except in cases of life endangerment or severely compromised physical health.
  • The state prohibits abortions performed in response to genetic anomaly.
  • The state requires abortion clinics to meet unnecessary and burdensome standards related to their physical plant, equipment and staffing.

How chivalrous of you to prove my point. Thank you.

What do you imagine has been proved? The reason she was sent to Indiana is because she was more than 6 weeks pregnant.

Yeah. You highlighted that in bold so we wouldn’t miss it. 6 weeks. 42 days. A month and a half. As the genius whore Kamala would say (no stranger to the abortion mill herself, no doubt), “the passage of time is time passing through the passage of time, which is time passing” or some such gobbledygook. Time. Plenty of time.

She was raped (allegedly). So, she is aware. If she or her parents (or guardians or pimps) want an abortion, time to test. Negative test, test again. Time’s a-wastin’. Take care of business. Get off your ass. Time is passing. But, there is time nonetheless.

Need more? Abortion is available for medical reasons or danger to the mother (why did you neglect to provide that allowance? Hurt your “case”?). I would call a pregnant 10 year old, whose birth canal (the medical term, not what Hunter considers his step mommy to be) may not be large enough for the birth of a fully developed BABY a medical threat to the mother.

Yeah, you destroyed your own argument. Six weeks is a long time. Plenty of time. On another note, I hope Bernard loses her illicit license and serves jail time.

It’s been proved that she could have got an abortion in Ohio.

Cry more.

She could have gotten an abortion.

You lose.

Uh, this girl qualified for an abortion in Ohio, if this hoax scenario had actually happened.

Cope more.

What a coincidence that they charged a suspect YESTERDAY. I’m still curious about all the circumstances. Raped numerous times? Was this an assault or is this just statutory rape because she is underage? How did this scumbag come across this little girl? Probably more details the left doesn’t want revealed.

OR, they just picked a van der Luub to charge with rape to give the tale some credibility. Now he gets deported back home. Done deal.

Will we ever get back to the point where news services report facts and people take the facts at face value? The lying needs to end.

Newsflash for all those idiots with those stupid NO HUMAN IS ILLEGAL signs in their Front Yards something for then Nit-Wits who want ICE to be Abolished
