Matt Lewis @ The Daily Caller:
All white people are going to hell, longtime African-American civil rights advocate Rev. Joseph Lowery told an audience at a get-out-the-vote event held Oct. 27 in Georgia.
Lowery, who gave the benediction at the January 2009 inauguration of President Barack Obama, told the audience of up to 300 African-Americans “that when he was a young militant, he used to say all white folks were going to hell. Then he mellowed and just said most of them were. Now, he said, he is back to where he was,” according to an Oct. 31 report in the Monroe County Reporter newspaper.
“I don’t know what kind of a n—– wouldn’t vote with a black man running,” Lowery also told the audience in the St. James Baptist Church in Forsyth, Ga., according to the Reporter.
“He was saying [that] based on all of the hatred that’s going on” towards President Barack Obama, Helen Butler, the executive director of Lowery’s Georgia-based Coalition for the People’s Agenda, told The Daily Caller.
“He just fell that he should feel the way he used to feel,” Butler, who attended the rally, explained.

Vote Mitt Romney/Paul Ryan. Let’s make America strong and great again because we can!
If this reverend had been at a GOP inauguration, this would be front page news.
@AdrianS:
Liberals, Democrats, Progressives all tried to claim Romney was despised by evangelicals.
Turns out they were all wrong.
70% is the number of self-identified evangelicals who are voting Romney!
Only 23% of those SAYING they are evangelicals are planning to vote Obama!
Tonight on Fox News a black minister, Bishop E.W. Jackson, is going to be interviewed who believes black church-goers should NOT vote for Obama.
Here was his message from one month ago:
This ”reverend” is NOW claiming it was a JOKE!
Really?
He horrified his audience.
He never said, JUST KIDDING!
But he sure doesn’t like it being publicized.
Heh!
http://dailycaller.com/2012/11/01/obamas-inauguration-reverend-says-anti-white-slam-was-a-joke/
Of course he also doesn’t remember saying the n-word part at all!
Forsyth Mayor John Howard and Rev. Antonio Proctor (whose church Obama’s ”rev” was visiting) talked about putting a video of the event on Forsyth Cable TV but decided after [Lowery’s] comments that it wasn’t a good idea.”
So, there IS a video!!!!
@AdrianS:
I qualified for 24 of those.
Does that mean that I can vote RR 24 times?
Or is that a privileged reserved for liberals?
It goes full circle:
When I was very young and very foolish, I voted liberal.
When I matured, in age and experience, I voted conservative.
When I die, and cease thinking, I will begin voting liberal again.
@Nan G: #5
I am so sick of these people.
Let that bigoted fatherless one tell me to my face that because of my skin color, I’m going to hell.
Enough was enough long ago.
@Petercat:
Ironic, look at the photo of the guy.
Now go to any photo of AFRICANS.
This ”rev,” has more white blood than black!
So, does Obama, by the way.
Maybe they’ll have to bring back ”Purgatory,” for mixed folks, like themselves.
LOL!
When is racism really racism?
Only when the liberal/progressives say that it is. Overt and disgusting racism such as the reverend displayed is not really racism, according to lib/progs. It is only a joke. And the media, who are willing to twist and spin in order to “prove” racism within conservative ranks, are all but absent in the face of such obvious racism, simply because the perpetrator is “one of them”.
Can you imagine if this “reverend” was attached to the Romney camp? Or any Republican’s campaign? Oh how the outrage would fly. We would be hammered by the MSM about the racism displayed here. It would be enough to sink the Romney campaign.
For Obama, though? Nary a peep.
If you have not read Starr Parker’s Uncle Sam’s Plantation, you need to. In it, Ms. Parker, who pulled herself up from her own bootstraps because of handing over her life to God, only to lose everything in the California riots, can explain to you the mentality of the modern day African American like no one else.
You have to keep people in their place in order to continue to gain their vote so that you can hold on to your position of power over them. It is a story as old as the Piped Piper; promise much as you walk the child [minded] over the cliff to their own destruction.
The Democrat Party has promised much to the American black, but have delivered nothing. Emanual Cleaver, a noted civil rights warrior, said that if President Obama had been white, with the black unemployment rates we current have, American blacks would be marching in the streets demanding more than Obama offers.
But it has become politically correct to bash white people based on transgressions of over 100 years ago. And the goal of Dr. King to simply see the playing field leveled, has been tipped the other way, and no one on the left thinks there is anything wrong with that. We are told that it is racist to ask people to provide I.D. when they vote and that it disproportionally affects blacks. Yet, where are the greatest examples of voter fraud? In districts like Sheila Jackson Lee’s district in Texas that is almost totally African American. It is those voters who are being disenfranchised due to voter fraud, yet their elected officials actively work to continue that practice. Why?
In 1960, if you told black Americans that they could vote with no other restriction other than proving who they were and where they lived, to make sure that they were counted, black Americans would have been lining up at city halls all across the nation to get a photo I.D. In every state where voter I.D. has been required, the percentage of black voters has increased. Once again, the very party that black Americans have placed their trust in to level that playing field has done the very opposite of what is good for black American.
The pendulum has swung in the opposite direction. Where it was once OK to bash black Americans, it is now just fine to bash white America. I don’t think this was Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s plan as he marched, arm in arm, with white Americans who wanted equality of opportunity for all, no matter the color of their skin.
The number of black women who abort their unborn is an absolute disgrace. In a segment of our society that should be growing, it is becoming smaller. More black children are being raised in fatherless homes, when 50 years ago, more black children lived in two parent homes than any other racial group in our nation. Black Americans, 50 years ago, were the most religious among us. But all that has changed because the advent of Dr. King’s assassination brought out the race baiters and poverty pimps who saw a financial opportunity based on hatred in spite of Dr. King’s message of unity and love. Is there anyone who can make the claim that Lowery, Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton can hold a candle to Dr. King or that they carry on his message? The simple answer is “No.”
The black American will continue to see life get worse, not better, until they turn their backs on those like Lowery, Jackson and Sharpton and the liberal, pan handling members of the Democrat Party that sells them out the first chance those Democrats get.
