Obama Steps on Fallen Heroes’ Dead Bodies for Personal Gain

On November 20, 2009, President Obama flew to Osan Air Base in South Korea to speak to American troops.  As many of the troops took pictures, Obama remarked, “You guys make a pretty good photo op.”

But this was already a pattern for Obama.

When he made a surprise visit to Iraq several months earlier in April 2009, he ensured that everyone who had voted for him was placed up front and given a camera.  The event had to be staged…just so.

Last week, Obama continued that pattern by first telling the press and families of the 30 U.S. Special Operations troops who died in a Chinook transport helicopter trying to rescue their comrades that, when he visited Dover to be present as their caskets come home, he would not allow the press in … and then by reversing himself without telling the families so that the press could take a picture of him in a solemn salute “honoring” the troops. A picture that was immediately distributed nationwide. The opportunity for the opportunist was just too delicious to turn down.

Does this sicken you?  Me too. Can anyone imagine a tearful President George W. Bush swindling fallen troops’ grief-stricken families like this?  Or any other American president?  Me neither.

Obama’s biggest photo op, of course, was the Bin Laden killing, when we were suddenly treated to “war room” photos and inside scoops about his “gutsy call.” (The fact that no nincompoop, even Himself, would have been stupid enough to turn down this prospect didn’t enter at all into the calculation about Obama’s abdominal content quality.) In fact, Obama’s “gutsy call” was a gutless call, especially considering he delayed the mission so he could think about whether to pursue it, then lied about the orders he gave afterward. Anyone surprised?  Didn’t think so.

The observation from GatewayPundit was, “Seems like a very cautious, feckless, indecisive individual delaying and delaying on critical decisions and then attempting to sound heroic when he finally does what he’s being paid to do. That’s our Obama.”

The only thing that wasn’t screwed up about the mission was the mission itself, which was planned and operated not at all by Obama, but by our nation’s finest.  Of course, that didn’t stop Obama from claiming all sorts of credit in his speech, where he reminded Americans ad nauseum that he had personally ordered the mission.  Congratulations, sir.  But may I remind you…that’s your damn job.

Photo ops are one thing. Exploiting the deaths of our valiant US troops for personal, political gain is quite another.

What a pathetic behavior by a feckless nobody!

Curt- I am sure that you have heard by now that Osama,er- Obama has greenlighted the Hollywood movie about the bin Laden raid, AFTER saying there would be NO pictures, “..as they might inflame the jihadi extremists..”. Now, he has said theat Kathryn Bigelow, the director of “The Hurt Locker” will direct the bin Laden flick. It is scheduled to be released in OCTober 2012, just in time to try and sway the elections.
Is it just me, or is this a new low in despicable behavior for a politician. I would not have believed a punk socialist asshat like the Rezident would have been so crass as to use our troops in such a blatant way, all to try and get him elected.

“Obama will never understand that those things worth dying for are what make our lives so rich. Rather, he is an impoverished and hollow man, not deserving of the office of President of the United States.”

Yet another scurrilous personal attack on the President of the United States by a right-wing hater. In our country’s time of distress, when nothing is needed more than unity of purpose and a renewal of national confidence, people like Carol A. Taber are about as useful to the American cause as a plague of locusts.

@Greg:

…..nothing is needed more than unity of purpose and a renewal of national confidence….

You do understand, Greg, that ”unity of purpose and renewal of national confidence,” do not come about via a Peter Pan-like character standing in front of an audience of mostly children and urging them to all (ALL) clap their hands so that Tinker Belle will magically recover from the poison she drank, don’t you?

All Obama does is this Peter Pan tactic.
And when all of us (100%) don’t clap (or buy into his socialistic ideas of how to cure our economy) he blames us for his policies’ failures as if not clapping is bad magic.
(It was Bush’s fault.
It is the TEA Party’s fault.)

You need to grow up, Greg.
That’s not a cure.
We cannot self-delude ourselves into economic strength.
We had a bad case of that once in the past.
When it was over, economists called it “IRRATIONAL EXUBERANCE.”

It does NOT work, Greg.
But it would make Obama happy.
Because it would LOOK LIKE IT WAS WORKING – for a short while.
Obama is image-driven.
And Obama is ego-driven as much as he is driven by socialist ideology.

He does not care about any REAL economical cures for America.

Nan, greg doesn’t care. He fully supports marxist obama. Like greg, obama has grudge against the wealthy and what he perceives as America’s unfairness/selfishness, and greed. For both of them the answer is European like socialism.

Funny how criticism of Obama is seen as “hate”, yet the “criticism of Bush is seen by the left as “patriotic dissent”. Got anything to say about that Greg?

There’s a difference between criticism and slander.

@Greg:

Do you mean that it’s “criticism” if done by liberals, but “slander” if done by conservatives?

Pray tell what about that comment that you highlighted in #3 was slander.

Here’s some help if you need it;

slan·der (slndr)

NOUN:

1. Oral communication of false statements injurious to a person’s reputation.
2. A false and malicious statement or report about someone.

More help;

Slander is the oral communication of false statements that are harmful to a person’s reputation. If the statements are proven to be true, it is a complete defense to a charge of slander. Oral opinions that don’t contain statements of fact don’t constitute slander. Slander is an act of communication that causes someone to be shamed, ridiculed, held in contempt, lowered in the estimation of the community, or to lose employment status or earnings or otherwise suffer a damaged reputation. Slander is a subcategory of defamation.

BTW, please tell us how a liberal relating Bush to Hitler and the Nazi’s is just criticism.

Why do I suspect Greg is one of those 3rd generation welfare people. They are about the only ones these days that defend Obama. They think Obama is going to put $$$ in their pockets. They have yet to learn what a job is and that it is imperative that everyone supports their own families. Not expecting us taxpayers to pay their bills.

Actually, Greg is of little consequence at this point. What is important is that Obama will stoop to any level for a photo-op. He also has no conscience when it comes to our fallen heroes being used to promote his agenda. He could care less about America. All he cares about is getting is mug in the media and trying to make people believe he is pro-America. We all know he is not. He just doesn’t have enough sense to realize we are on to him and his socialist agenda.

There is nothing scurrilous about making a true statement.

Hate? Do want to know what fosters hate?

Hate is knowing that your only son is trudging up and down the mountains of Afghanistan without adequate reinforcements so your Kline Fuhrer could make a political play before the next election. Hate is knowing, as a result, that his unit has so far suffered as many KIA in two months as the unit it replaced suffered in nine.

Hate is having him describe sitting on the ground, staring at the IED in front of him that failed to explode because he’s too tired and feet hurt too bad to run away. Because the troops requested to make the area safe were not sent in the first place by your Kline Fuhrer, who has already started taking away more.

Hate is knowing he gets paid to protect leftest scum like the one posing over the coffins of the fallen and naive, sniveling shits who worship him.

Pride is knowing that he protects the rest of us for free.

I wish your son well.

I consider hatred of anyone who doesn’t share one’s own political views to be some sort of affliction. Whatever it is, America presently has a serious case of it.

@Greg:
This isn’t about “political views”.

This is about the reckless, deliberate waste of American lives by completely disregarding the opinions, advice and pleadings of our trained military leaders for purely personal political gain. Yes, indeed, there is an “affliction” involved, it’s called malignant narcissism, and your idol in DC is the one who has it.

IMAGINE he want to cut more than 50billion to the MILITARY, and
he started all those other WARS since then with special forces in now 75 COUNTRIES
WHERE THEY WHERE BEFORE IN 53 COUNTRIES,
IS that logic to cut the MILITARY?

@Greg: Greg, @#7- The difference between “criticism and slander” is, apparently, point of view. Just as the difference between a socialist asswipe moron and a president is POV. Guess which POV I will go with-at least mine hews closer to the truth.
